Overseas scammer "Government Solar Rebate" using a spoofed (fake) number. Diverted to the scammer answering machine, I hope they enjoyed the chat with it.

Repeatedly calls our business and hangs up when we answer. Calls several times EVERY DAY!!! SCAM

The scammer said my TFN was suspended. I pressed one and since I used to work for the tax office I know we do not answer the call "Taxation Office" without stating a name, I said to the bitch "Oh really?" and she said "Yes really" and hung up. Utter cowards and pathetic pieces of dog excrement. Don't fall for this bullsh*t. It's laughable how obvious it was that it was a scam.

Indian sounding accent, knew my first name, they call me reasonably regularly asking me to complete a survey - very cagey.

Scammers pretending to be the police, will pretend to know your details and state that serious things are happening and after some time will help you to safe guard money. They seem really legit. But it’s a scam

Received a call from this number but hung up, tried to return call but it drops out...After reading the valuable comments on here I have now blocked this number. DO NOT ENGAGE in conversation if you answer this number. Block and report is my advice.

Just got a call and they knew my first name… may be from voicemail (previous call)? You can always tell a robocall because there is a 2-second pause after you answer it. I normally just hang up at that point and block the caller.

Call from Tax Dept…said my TFN was suspended..not a person on the line but a robo call..scam..hung up

Caller: Indian scammer

Called me twice around midnight.
F*cking Indian scammers have zero brain capacity.
Whothef*ck office would call their customers in the midnight?
Hope COVID takes them Indian scammers all to hell.

They called me from this number. Adelaide number. They told me they calling me from the National Crime Agency, and do not try to contact anyone else. They know my name and my address, they told me someone used my TFN, they contacted me to an another person, who called himself a police officer, he told me Im under arrest if Im not cooperate with them. They tried to force me to buy Coles gift cards and provide the data to them to check my bank account. I called the police and the Crime agency they told me its a scam. I have already reported them to ATO. I contacted with the Adelaide Police Department to catch them. I have got they data. Im waiting for the result.

Answering machine saying my TFN is suspended so i pressed one as soon as i heard her i was suspicious as almost gave her my name and asked to call back bc i have my baby on me and she hung up. f*cking scum

A call to my mobile with auto announcement that my tax file number was going to be cancelled. The tax office may cancel ABNs, but NEVER TFNs, you've got it for life. Pressed 1 but didn't waste much of their time as I usually try to do.
