Indian scammers claiming to be from EBay customer support. Let me tell you, I had fun. I flood called them over 500 times abusing them In slang insults. Reactions were priceless.

I rang back. Indian accent claimed to be eBay support. I called them a naughty name and wished them an ill end.

Called back - sounds like an Indian call centre

I got the same call today in Tasmania from the same number in South Australia. Guy with heavy Indian accent says my eBay account is being hacked by someone in China, and I should call such and such a number and give my details to cancel the purchase. Since I don't have an eBay account, I said I can't be hacked. He hung up.

This is an overseas based scam, run by fraudsters. It is fake. I suggest you block the number.

Received a message talking about a debit of $249.99 will be coming out of my account.. obviously a scam as I checked my bank and nothing taken out or pending. I’m in Hobart and it came up as a South Australian number. Tried to call it back for some reverse phishing but it just said caller busy but then eventually rang and just rang out

They rang and said that somebody had used my phone number to set up another ebay account and that I needed to do something to stop payment of $250 for a giftcard by someone in China. He said he was from ebay and said he was working with ACCC and Au Federal Police. He was Indian, I could hear the voices in the call centre and he was so desperate and breathless in rushing me. He started instructing me to type in an address which I realised was a screen-sharing app and I hung up. DODGY AS!!!!

Attempted scan from this number today. Frustrating its still being used.

Same as other but this time claiming to be Amazon.

Unknown robo-caller left this automated voice message " (front of message was cut off or non-existent) .. a purchase request for $299.99 and the same will be debited from your account within one hour. If you did not place this order then call us on (08) 7200 1045 or press 1 to speak to a representative to cancel or get refund". Of course, I have no intention of calling them. Clearly a scam but irritating all the same that one cannot block them.

$9.99 will be automatically deducted from your account unless you press #1 to cancel the order or call our representatives on 61 8 7200 1045.

Call them and tie up the line and give them cr@p. Tell them you have alerted the federal police.
Obviously someone has HACKED into a Perth based phone system from India.
Where is Telstra/Optus in shutting down the hack!
