Using local number to trick me into answering

Further investigation shows the phone number for this apparent “Kalamunda” location is supplied by a Sydney based telco “symbio networks”

The reviews on this telco are extremely negative & most imply that the telco supplies numbers for scammers to carry out fraudulent calls....I suggest to make a call to the telecommunications industry ombudsman & report both the number & telco

3 calls in 3 days at 7:10pm.

missed the call first time. they called again a few days later which I answered. no one on the other end. wasting my time!

Picked up and line goes quiet for a few secs then they hang up automatically

did not answer, I checked the number on here and the reviews were it was spam so I have blocked the number

Like others have reported, call said it was from Kalamunda 7.10pm on the dot. I don’t know anyone from Kalamunda so I didn’t answer.

Screened Call stating from Kalamunda. Looked on here for info, I will now block number!! Thanks for the infomation everyone

Claimed to have obtained information from Australian Data Services. I have a number that is never given out except when I participate in fun runs when I need to provide the number for health/safety reasons. Interested if any other people who have been called by this person may have participated in a fun run in Perth as this could be the source of their data.

Screened the call because of the usual scam calls. Says incoming from Kalamunda. Answered the call with “hello” There was white noise in background, said hello again....with nothing in return. Then heard a voice in background breaking up...then the call was terminated. No idea who or what it is

from Kalamunda, Western Australia. A man with a foreign accent, he knew my name and asked if my parents were home???

Called me tonight. I answered because it was in WA, Kalamunda. Didn’t have any one on the other end of the line

He asked a bunch of questions even mentioned my name and when I asked how he knew all these things he hung up in my face

Had a call from this number that came up as Kalamunda Perth at 7pm! A man answered who knew my name. I asked him if he was trying to sell me something? He said he will explain first and come back to that question! I told him I’m not interested. I’ve blocked the number.

Annoying phone call on Friday Night 8pm, when I just want to relax !! Very aggressive when i asked to not call night time and remove my number. super annoying. don't answer ! selling insurance !
