“ Hi I’m Steve. I am calling from the claims team about the accident you have been involved in”

Scam as I’ve not been involved in any accidents

Prerecorded message from 'Steve from claims department' in regards to the injury claim. Went on to say needed to clarify a few details first and instructed to press 1.
I hung up and blocked number. I've had numerous hangup calls from very similar numbers, like 1 or 2 digits at the end difference.

both my wife and I has been called from this number leaving message about accident. we just block the number

Getting these crap calls daily from this and other numbers. Use to only be on home line and now mobile. I wont even speak to Telstra when they call now and ask for me to confirm my details. Time the law came down heavily on this type of crap and Telstra implemented something that blocks computer and scam callers... I will no longer answer my phone to any calls and will only do ring back. My phones have been silenced... the next step is to actually get rid of my mobile

Got a call from "Steve from claims" saying they wanted to know the details of the accident I had recently been in, considering I don't drive it was a tad bit fishy... Definitely spam!

His name was Steve calling about car accident. It was a scam because I have not had a car accident.

They dont run the line all day. Only from about 12pm AEDT to 4pm and then from 6:30pm AEDT

Press one when they are there and you get much entertainment from the worst yet most entertaining scammers Ive ever trolled. They Ive Been told by several of the muppets there that they are "In Perth" "England" or "Sri Lanka".They all have Chav accents and get really MAD when you call them Irish and tell them to speak proper English, so Id say they are from GB.

They are real fun to troll.
