Caller: Insurance scam This is a scam insurance call from a Steve from the 'Claims Centre'. It doesn't even tell you which company it is for, and you get a recording voice message, asking if you have been involved in accidents. They are possibly trying to get your personal details, including credit card pretending to give out claim money.

Caller: steve from the claims team Same as above. Steve sounds really cool and conversational which could put some targets off balance for a moment. I will block this number and report it as it is all I can do. If I knew where "Steve" lived I would pay him a visit and discuss why he uses his friendly voice in such a dishonest way. The sad thing is that these are real people trying to steal from vulnerable individuals. It would be nice if karma catches up with them. If a motor vehicle was involved in delivering karma, so much the better .....

Same here just received a call from this number this morning with the same recorded message from Steve in the claims team. I automatically pressed 2 which was to remove my details and then immediately regretted it. I tried calling the number back and got the same message and pressed 1 to speak to an agent, the phone call then ended. Definite scam just hang up immediately.

Caller: I don't know this time but often financial services I have noticed a pattern with these scam calls where I get several from (02) or (03) numbers and then if I don't answer them the next will be (07) prefix and if they still have no joy the final one will be (08) as I am in W.A where some areas have that prefix as I just received from the above number. This time I googled it and ended up here but on my phones call details it will often register as an invalid number.
