They are a member of the TELCO team which is affiliated with Telstra. I have just gotten off the phone with the 'actual' Telstra team and after a lot of searching they found them. I had placed an order with them for a transition to the NBN as our current phoneline had not been working for quite some time. Cutting a long story short, I was concerned and contacted Telstra, who confirmed that my order had been placed...so that was a huge relief.
I hope this helps clarify things for some of you!

I have several calls a day from this number hangs up after a couple of rings, doesn’t leave a message and a couple of times I have answered on the second ring and they hand up... very dodgy and also soo frustrating!

Calls mobile frequently, rings only twice. Does not leave a message.Called the number back. Went to a call centre that said they were "TLS", and that they were linked to Telstra. I said I did not want any more calls I was told to inform Telstra of this direct!

Polite lady, sounds very much like the kind of people you do talk to if you do ring Telstra, American accent, in some kind of overseas location/call centre. So certainly sounds convincing enough, but even on this short call I was asked to confirm my telephone number and when I refused, I did wonder whether I would have been asked about other information to "identify" myself.

I answered the phone and spoke to an "Alex" who said he was with Telstra. He told me he was calling to ensure I was getting maximum satisfaction with my Telstra service. I'm not with Telstra. I told him I wasn't interested, and he wished me a good day and hung up.

Clearly dodgy, as I really doubt Telstra needs to cold call for more business, and calls from a random local Perth number.

Yup - they're scammers. Thank goodness it's easy to block them on mobiles

Trying to sell an NBN service to a disconnected number. Their number appears to be legitimate. The male i spoke with had a slight Indian? accent, but also sounded like he has lived in Australia for a long time and spoke English well.

This is NOT a Telstra number. They are scammers. They say they are "The Telstra Business Centre", try to offer a better plan. They wanted my credit card, medicare and other details. I hung up and blocked the number.

Just got a call from (08) 6224 4164 and they hung up when I answered. Thank goodness for this page. I have now blocked the number.

Requested DOB but no other identifying information - they did know my first name already. Queried if I was happy with service to which I stated I was. Caller wasn't overly confident on the phone.

I have a Telstra SIM and get a call from this number once a month. The SIM is in a modem and I couldn't give a sh*t about crappy Telstra and spammers, scammers and other scum are welcome to keep calling my modem and leaving a message.

I missed the call but guessing came from Telstra Business Centre as I got one yesterday and when I looked it up on this site yesterday I found it was the same caller from information on that site. I have a brand new phone and haven't given out my number yet so how do they get it I'm wondering. I tried to block the call yesterday but it didn't stay in my recent's so was unable to do so.

Has called several times - declared themselves to be a Telstra Business Centre. They were just fishing as they had very little of my information. Beware!!!!
