Asked for somebody with same surname as mine but I didn't recognise the Christian name

I called back the number (08) 6214 4311 and reached vm that did not mention the company name

I called back number (08) 6214 4311 spoke to a woman who said company name is Pioneer Credit.

I answered this number. No person talked to me. I can hear some noise in the background bit the person didn't talk to but just hang up. Probably wants to know if my number is active then whatever they want to try to scram me later.

Called asking for someone called shawn - i don't even know any shawn's... obviously a scam, trying to find which phone numbers are active so they can on-sell those phone numbers to other scammers or something.

Called asking for a Simon somebody (not my name) and rattled off two different surnames for this Simon and whether I knew him. Never heard of anyone with that name and when I asked how or why my number was associated with this, said they had it on their database linked to this person...immediately blocked the number.

Same thing. Left a message to text on my phone, asking for someone with the same surname as mine, but with a first name I did not recognise. Did not give a company name or any information. Seems to be a cold calling tactic

Unknown lady Called me from this number , advising the call was being recorded and do I know a Melissa Jenna. "No" I said. Caller then hung up
