I called back number (08) 6214 2240 spoke to a woman but did not say for what company until she verifies who I am

contacted me to find a person that lived at my address. I rent, and they have my name and mobile number??? WTF... how is that legal. She informed me they have a national data base that provides name and contact phone number of people at the address. Where is the privacy and security?? i asked her to remove me from this list and i have no affiliation to the person who resided at the address prior to us taking the lease.

I received a call from this number about an employee that worked for me over 3 years ago, I suggested they contact them via linked in (as I know they are on linked in) but for some reason they would not do that. I hung up, I suspect they are in fact trying to coax information.
