Block the number - annoying people asking about non-existent motor vehicle accidents

Insurance scam. Told them strait up take my number off their call list as I know it’s a scam. Didn’t even let him get past hello

Saying they are from the emergency accident response team. Have i had an accident. Bloody scammers.

So annoying l rang number back and surprise surprise it’s not in service l blocked their number then they rang for another number one ending in 78 and the other in 79 really pissing me of as l now get 10 calls a day atleast and l answer as l worry it mite be an emergency with my 96yr old mother in law l think the telco company’s need to do better and especially as l have a private number how do they get away with it!!!!

Pretended and went along with the scam. Quizzed the scammer after a few minutes and asked him why he scams people especially during COVID. Suggested there were better ways of earning a living and he outright said maybe for others. Pathetic.

Scam - but I just yelled at them and they hung up so I guess mark that as a win for me. Blocked the number again but I suspect they use several different ones!

When I called the number back it sounded like an Indian man speaking a younger person and obviously did actually sounds to me like some kind of scam or something that doesn't sound right because you can tell when it's a legitimate business because there's an actual secretary or an actual phone message that sounds legit like when you would ring Telstra

It’s the old automated “This is Steve calling about the accident. If you have had an accident press 1 to confirm your details, if you haven’t had an accident press 2 to confirm your details.” 🙄. Along with everyone else I know this particular tiresome scam call comes in frequently. On this occasion I did press 1 and gave the bloke an earful. I told him he was a grubby little evil scammer, he told me I was a “bad smell” lol. So sick of it, get this scam call all the time.

Insurance accident voicemail scam

We got these calls a few times but it was more about being compensated for an accident. My husband decided to have some fun with them and kept them talking by saying yes he had been involved in an accident. He asked how much money they could get for him and he proceeded to give false details. The caller then asked for a registration number of the vehicle and my husband said "F C K Y O U" The scammer hung up. We have not had another call like this since.

Don’t answer these calls. Block them but they find some new number to call from . Go get some work rather then scamming people. Iam going to report these numbers now .

Caller had an Irish accent.

Caller said someone from my house had a accident twelve months ago.

I said no, next question, did someone else on the house have a accident. Answered no.

Caller than said, must have wrong number, it’s for a male caller Samson.

I called back and they answered with... “you’ve called the accident response team”
