The business name appeared in other scam reports for a different Perth phone number. The caller suggested I had filled in a form to win a holiday and so long as I was over 21 and had internet access, I qualified. Steve Hollyak explained the only catch is winners have to eat breakfast and dinner in accommodation outlets and post a review. Offer started with $249 for 6 accommodation vouchers for 2 adults 2 children. Website listed accommodation outlets we normally use. Login passkey "member456" Phone number given (08) 6102 0866 and bank account Ocean Marketing Solutions BSB 033 084 account 485 746. Business is TheDriveNFly and website www.drivenfly.com. Reported to ACCC Scamwatch.

If you have paid the money on your credit card and now find it was a scam, go to your bank and ask them to reverse the payment you made. You will need to give an explanation to them but they will then reverse out the entry and you effectively get your money back.

I had the same call today (3/3/18), however the new number is (08) 6102 0877 and the cost is $259. The reviews are from fake facebook accounts.

My mother recently received two calls from this number stating she had won a holiday. She believed she was getting a wonderful deal to purchase vouchers for 499$. When she told them she did not use the internet she was given a bank number to make a deposit into, which she did. she received 'vouchers" for meal deals, but no way to redeem them. The website for flyndrive does not allow you to look up how and where you can redeem these vouchers. The listed Perth phone number goes straight to "this number is unavailable." Shocking scammers !

My call was the same as Clairity's except sales manager said the company's registered name was DF Travel Marketing Pty Ltd ABN 90-162-898-535 of 1 Altona Street, West Perth WA (08) 6102 0866. Checked them out with ASIC and found a matching listing but co. is not registered for GST and never has been. The thedrivenfly.com website is less than 6 months old and is registered to a Dawn Lehnord of 18 Sky Pl Bellingen NSW 2454 Sydney. I contacted wholesale reservations for one of the hotels listed on their site and they had not heard of either the website or company. Many of the links on the website did not work and there were quite a lot of typing errors on the ones that did. Caller said payment methods were paypal or direct deposit and wanted me to login to my internet banking site to transfer the membership fee. Reported to ACCC scam watch.

A George Wilson who spoke very rapidly and with an American accent promised me the world but was unable to show me any details of their "deal"on the website shown on their email they later sent to me. I read all of their conditions and it has no details there either about what they provide for the $249. I just googled their name in various forms and can find NOTHING. Avoid!! They are shonks!!

Caller: They said they were Netflix

I was called by this (08) 6102 0866 number.

30 minutes prior I had gone to this website (https://www.yumpu.com/en/document/view/67875449/get-help-by-experts-through-netflix-phone-number-australia-61-1800-595-174) - which appeared in Google (after I had searched "Call Netflix)

Calling that number : 1800 595 174 - a person answered - he was unprepared for the call.
I ended the call and subsequently blocked that call.

30 minutes later - this (08) 6102 0866 number called me and said my Netflix account has being suspended and they will try and help.
I told them I am a PI and I am tracking their position - they hung up

Caller: my company

I am the Director of DF Travel Marketing and scammers have unfortunately been illegally using my company name, which they must have retrieved from the ASIC website. The number they are using is not my number and that is not my address. They are phoning people and offering travel vouchers and holidays, and expecting upfront payments. I know all of this because someone laid a claim against my company, as a result of having been scammed out of money. I proved successfully in court that DF Travel Marketing's name has been used in a scam. DF Travel Marketing's name is cleared and innocent of any wrongdoing. The scammers who should be sitting in jail.

Hello, my elderly father purchased some vouchers from thedrivenfly.com I was dubious that they are legit. The company does have an ABN 90162898535 DF TRAVEL MARKETING PTY LTD
and an address, 11 Altona st West Perth WA 6005 and a landline (08) 6102 0866. I called and felt it a scam. They asked me to look at reviews on trustpilot.com It has only 3 review and one of them is for a stay at Rydges hotel in Sydney, so I contacted Rydges hotels to confirm if they actually accepted vouchers from drive&fly or through their booking agency. They did not. My father paid via American express but his emailed receipt was PayPal although it does not come up on his PayPal account. Contacted American express but as was over 6 months no refund and was passed onto Australian Cybercrime Online Reporting Network (ACORN). They replied cannot help returning funds.

Upon further investigation I discovered their testimonials have been pulled from other travel sites. SCAM alert

their email now care @ thedriveanfly.com
Stay clear from any of it. Not sure why these low life's can't be prosecuted.

My sister has been scammed $498 from this company - now operating under the name Nite5 (www.nite5.com). We have reported this to all the appropriate authorities. Pity these parasites have been getting away with this for so long.

Having so much trouble with these scammers, same thing as the others, won't talk to me have to communicate only by email. Was only given 2 places for a choice on where to stay and no meal deals available. Still trying to sort this rubbish out. Give them a wide berth.

To anyone and everyone, These guys are complete scammers. I went in for the full $999 package, only to have similar issues as mentioned above.

When I tested them, they offered only 3 properties in Perth (even though their web site show over 1400 available). Of these three, one was a back packers and the other two were crappy under $90 p/n fleabeds. Worse, none of them were Pay to eat and stay for free - just pay for one night stay for two. You can get this deal with the local $70 Entertainment book.
So, I asked for a refund. They talked me down to a lower package, promised to sort it all out and refund the money. 2 months later - my rebook resulted in the same offers and no refund was made.
Several times I called them on their poor customer service and other points (such as lack of online reviews) as you guys have mentioned. As a mater of fact - I have a very interesting almost 1hr taped conversation I had with them in regards these issues.

Luckily as Janice has mentioned - if you use your credit card - your bank will refund the full amount as part of their anti-scammer guarantee. I did, and received the full $999 back in my account. Thankyou CWB.

So, in short:
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE JERKS.
ALWAYS USE YOUR CREDIT CARD FOR ONLINE/PHONE PURCHASES

Hope everyone has a nice day.

My experience is exactly the same as Clairity's. I was sucked in by the seemingly attractive holiday options, but when I tried to book, I received no reply until a week before I was due to leave and the wrong dates were listed. This is ongoing and not yet resolved. Worst holiday experience ever.

Had the same conversation as Clarity, first with Jasmine who then handed me over to her supervisor Steve Hollyak, $259 deal for 5 Vouchers to use for 5 Night stay, fortunately I felt a bit suspicious & wasn't prepared to go on the internet with Steve Hollyak. He asked where I would like to go on holiday & immediately found the places on his computer on my behalf. I said to him I am busy at the moment , to which he responded that I can check out their website for the deal packages & said that he will call back later as they close at 21:00 Brisbane time. Number to call him was now (08) 9467 5749

This is definitely a scam and we were caught and lost our money. When we called back to get confirmation for our payment by email they said they were having trouble with our address and when we asked for a refund as we had changed our mind Jordan became quite agitated and desperately tried to convince us they were absolutely able to provide what they claimed. When I persisted he said he would get a booking consultant to call us back directly but nothing happened and our calls back to them went unanswered. We have to wear this one but anyone else - just avoid them!! I always went by the adage if it was too good to be true it probably was a scam but this one caught me out as we were looking for a good cheap holiday!! I will be wiser next time.
