I donate $30 per month to this charity they still call at least 4 time a week asking me to buy more tickets it is so annoying.

I am on the Do Not Call Register, still getting the call on both Mob and Home number. Seriously some of the comments on this page??? it is harassment, calls come at unreasonable hours. I donate but not via phone and as a family we have our own issues that first need our charity. Being called up to 6-8 times a day IS harassment. How would the people like it if I rang them constantly at unreasonable hours on both phones. I don't think so...

Just received a call on my mobile. How did the Qld Charities telemarketers get my number? 2 days ago it was Qld Surf Lifesavers. And I don't live in Qld!

When I answered, there was just silence then disconnect. It doesn't answer on return of call - just rings out. Suspect telemarketing.

I actually missed a call from this number and they must have been training someone new who had not realised my message bank kicked in. I hear the following chat "when you get them to buy one ticket and they grab their credit catd details thats when you go for the kill, thats it' obviolusly training sonmeone. I have alwayz supported mater hospitals but no more if this is the type of conpany they use to get funds.

Re: I think maybe you are the idiot, Most , if not all of these calls come from 3rd party commissioned telemarketers which take a cut off the amount you buy.
Thereby reducing the amount that goes to the cause. The reason they call is because you have already donated and are on a database. You preach love , understanding while pointing out how stupid , scroogy, pack of stupid people who deserves no help while we wait on centrelink payments or bow before our masters at work.
I have the feeling you are lacking an awful lot in life experience and compassion and a very little angry man to boot.
