Caller: Australian Contact Center.

This is not a scam. It is a company hired to contact customers. In my case it was from William Hill advising if I was aware of the merger with CrownBet and turning into "BetEasy" (I do have e-mails from William Hill confirming this I had just not relied) checking my contact details were correct for future correspondence.

its to do with the William Hill merger with star bet group. All the info will be in your email.
You dont need to take any action, they're contacting everyone who has an account

He Called me, from southport Queensland, I’m in Sydney, talked about some rubbish in a strong Australian accent, didn’t get a word, then he told me that he sent an email few days earlier, about something. (Didn’t get it)
anyway I replied that I didn’t have time for his bullsh*t by phone.
Then I checked his phone number on internet and this page came out, so yes is a scam.

Caller: Call center for gambling site

After a number missed calls, i answeted and discovered that on the days i get sms of "bonus" if i depoait into william hill website, i also get call from this number....i put 2+2 together and they assume friday saturday people get paid, few drinks so pray on them for deposits ....unfortunatly it was my ex husband who was using my account so now even more proof for court as to the debts
His racked up in my name....thanks for that and so glad got that app that records all phone conversations....

unless yr in devorse court...prob just block them unless u want to give $50 for $10 bonus of which they still take all ya money and more....

Could just hear lots of talking in the background and then it hung up. sounds like a call centre

I called back number (07) 5655 3699 reached voice mail for a comapny caled Australian Contact Center.

Caller: Betezy

Got the call 7pm from an indian / middle eastern accent asking for yama given this number to contact them for Betezy but I've never had a Betezy or william hill ( as others have said are connected) account ever in my life. . I think it's strange they asked for a different person & as soon as I said "who" they said might have rang a wrong number but then after I said I am Brett & only person that has access to this phone they said will put me on the do not call list.

A call from BetEasy to tell me that my long forgotten account with William Hill has now been transferred. Useful as it prompted me to close the account.

Some kind of shonksters who hung up. You call them back and get answered by 'The Australian Call Centre'.

They are not a scam.

Do not want anything other than to advise you that the account you have with WilliamHill has been transferred to BetEasy. Seems reasonable given my credit card details and a sum of money are store in the account. They also advised of a $20 bonus bet applied for nothing in return. Free money. It's actually all very responsible.

Just answer the call and acknowledge the transfer of information and they won't call again.
