Caller from taxation dept and said there was a warrant out for my arrest

I did not take the call, message left said
"the Australian taxation office is looking for you" ?this is illegal? "
I deleted this message immediately.

On answering machine - Taxation Depart there is a warrant out for my arrest. Voice was staccato and probably recorded.

Automated message left a reference number and threats from the ATO with warrants and to call the number

Did not take the call.
Text message left stated.
"We have received a complaint of you from Australian taxation department and your reference number is TX1890. As there is a legal case."

Another tax office scam number,.....

Yeh I got the same thing. They are after you voice recording for some reason. It’s scary what they do know about you!

Caller: Supposed to be taxation office

Got a recorded message telling me I needed to contact this number from the taxation office. Was told I didn’t submit some form so I owed $2000 and if I didn’t pay up I would be taken to court and possibly jailed. They asked me to repeat my name over half a dozen times pretending they could not hear me. I rang ATO and they confirmed there was nothing I owed so this is a scam! The scary part is they already had my name, phone No, date of birth and Centrelink No. I have reported it with ATO and my banks. Beware! I think they are after your voice imprint. Do not pay any invoices you do not recognise. They target major businesses and telecommunication suppliers and try to charge you.

I too was threatened with arrest, apparently they'll have a warrant with my name on it. I'm pretty sure that it was a scam or such type thing.

Definitely spam. Called claiming to be ATO, then asked for Bitcoin payment. I have reported to the ATO

Claims that there is an ATO court case in progress and a warrant for your arrest. Is certainly a scam.

similar to the above. it was a recorded message. something about a warrant for arrest from the Australian federal police.

Received a call, saying that the call was from ATO, a warrant has sent for arresting me because of taxation issue, instructing me not to ignore the call and instructing me to ring (07) 5641 2500.
You may receive the same call with no reason.

Caller: Scammers

This is a Voice over Internet Protocol number and the VoIP provider is www.symbionetworks.com and you can check for a numbers VoIP provider here https://www.thenumberingsystem.com.au/#/number-register/search . I suggest we all call Symbio Networks each time we get a scam call from one of their VoIP customers and then maybe Symbio Networks will do something. Symbio Networks number is 1300 789 653. You must realize that Symbio Networks gets paid by the scammers that use their service and this is the reason Symbio Networks appear to be providing a safe haven to scammers.
