Worst customer service on the planet. My fridge door had a faulty hinge on the door.
The repairman came around to fix the door and he was nice and helpful and did a great job fixing it.
He accidentally broke the dairy cover during his repairs & said he would drop around a replacement. We thanked him and off he went.
What was to follow was atrocious customer service to say the least.

After a month of waiting for a replacement, with Covid we thought that time was more than fair, still no replacement. We called to follow up and spoke to a woman calling herself Michelle… she apologised and said that the part that the repairman broke had not been ordered and must have slipped his mind, she told us to leave it with her and that she would take care of it and to leave things with her… We said ok and did just that.

2 weeks passed and still no replacement part. I followed up, only be abused over the phone and called a lair… I was left in shock as the way I was spoken to by a customer service agent representing a company as big as Harvey Norman and their chosen repair company Wholesale Appliance Services.

The person calling herself Michelle immediately got angry when I called her stating to me that she has spoken with me on no less that 3 separate occasions where I apparently told her we no longer needed the part and had already replaced it (likely story why would we replace a part we were waiting on and why would we incur an extra expense when we were waiting on the part to be delivered). She then made up some nonsense and tried to tell me it was me she spoke with on 3 separate occasions assuring her we had fixed the issue and no longer needed a repair… another crazy made-up scenario to dodge the fact that they had broken something and were not willing to fix it.

She then said that she had sent the repairman around to deliver the part and we had rejected it stating we no longer needed it… another lie of a scenario. If she had in fact spoken to me and if I had said I did not need the part, then why send the repairman… she stated he had been around several times and each time was sent away… A real poor effort and dodging some responsibility.

When I told her, I keep strict phone records and logs and we use security cameras at our premises which document and record every person that comes to our door she got super angry, and hung up the phone… When I called back, she pretended to be somebody else and told me our account has been blacklisted and nobody can help me… Good thing I recorded our conversation as I always do because I have been burnt by too many shonky dealers…

I rate this company zero out of 10 and I choose to take my business away from Harvey Norman if they continue to tarnish their reputation with repair companies such as this one…

Wholesale Appliance Supplies in Nerang really needs to lift its game in delivering customer service and after sales support. I was particularly displeased when I made a request and it was not met, and when I called the customer service team on the phone to complain they hung up on me. Their failure to resolve my matter resulted in Electrolux having to step in and resolve the matter for them. The bottom line is you always have to pay for really terrible service at Wholesale Appliance Supplies. I asked for a written apology a couple of weeks ago and never got it even though Electrolux told Wholesale Appliance Services to do it. They don't even listen to the manufacturer, so how could they possibly listen to the customer?
