This is not Telstra

Won't stop calling, definately a call centre, my phones are not with Telstra so why are they calling ??

Caller: A Ladies voice

Said they were from NBN / Telstra. Said internet in my area was slow and was checking on peoples connections. Said mine was a standard line and they will upgrade me to a fibre optic line. Arranged an Appointment for a technician to come out etc etc and will send a new Modem to me for free but I had to pay for shipping and handling fee, so I went ahead with that.
Long story cut short I got scammed and money ( thousands ) stolen from my bank account.
BEWARE OF THESE THINGS THEY SAY
- They want to REMOTE IN ( a HUGE NO NO NO ) using Teamviewer
- They installed a program called Anywhere Desktop ( which also lets them remote in )
- The screen starts to flicker

I rang the number back and it went to a person's Telstra message bank. Seems a bit scammy to me... the number looks like it would be from the Gold Coast Qld

Caller: Said they were telstra

Said issue with internet being hacked. Wanted to fix it.
