She said she is from Energex (not Energy) Watch in QLD & the rates went down so I am paying too much. I told her I am right on the ball with all that stuff & believe she is a scammer. She said she could get me 5% off & I said I already get 12% then she tried to tell me 20% hah...I told her all my friends ring me to find out this sort of information on everything as it is what I do & was not going to get anything out of me so she hung up. Definately believe this is a scammer number now set up in QLD.

I got this call from Gympie and they hung up before leaving a message.

Have received multiple calls since 17/01/18 right through to the 02/02/18 so frustrating

Same as above using both (07) 5482 8679 and (07) 2472 3985, when i call back both it says that the mobile number is disconnected.

Has called twice in the past three days. When I call back it says the number is disconnected. No voicemail left.

Scam - power bills are based on consumption, load of crap. Block the number.

Just rang me - said they were from a 'better deals' company and they wanted to compare my energy bill. Once I said I didn't feel comfortable giving them the company who my electricity bill was they lost interest and hung up.

Teleco advises number not connected when calling back

They called me and didn't leave a message. When I called back it said "could not be connected". I tried several times. The same thing. When is the government going to do something about these scammers or whoever they are.

Missed the call and it was a local number so I tried ringing back. I got the recorded message "Optus advises that this number has been disconnected".

Answered, line was silent then hung up.

A guy with an Indian accent named 'Peter' said he was calling about a discount on my electricity bill. He asked if I was the bill payer, and hung up when I said no.
