I called back number (07) 5405 1703 spoke to a guy who said I've reached the company called panthera finance.

Panthera Finance purchase distress debt from companies such as Telstra and utility providers and then try an collect this debt. They may pay 10c in the dollar, so anything they collect above this is profit. Amazing how many people just pay... Panthera has no legal right to collect in this way and you have no obligation to pay, or even talk to them. Block the number. I only answer calls from my Contacts, everything else goes through to message. I will never return a call if a message has not been left, or I do not recognise the number. I am amazed at how many people answer calls where the number is not known. The ringing phone is an intrusion. No rule says you must answer. Your choice...

These predators will call any friend, associate or family member, no matter how distant the relationship. No debt is too small and they will not readily identify themselves. They will not stop harassing even when asked to cease and desist. They use about 20 various numbers and will call daily, weekly and at random times. No matter how many numbers they use, my block list can hold more numbers than they can afford. Keep trying you parasites.

She is a complete and utter moronic person. Here's a tip debt collectors, you are being paid to collect the debt, so YOU do all the dirty work and find the person you're after. Debt collection agency who introduced them selves as “company from Brisbane”. I have asked them to stop calling on multiple occasions as they have the wrong number, currently have a case against them for harassment.

He kept saying he was Vin calling from a company in Brisbane and was looking for someone named Laura with the same last name as me, possibly my sister?
I said I don’t have a sister or any family members with that name, he apologised to me and ended the call.
First thing I thought was debt collectors!
I want to know how he got my number and knew my full name!

I was contacted this morning because i now own the house that the person they are chasing used to live in. I have never heard of the person or had any contact with them but because my number is associated with that address they called me. Super rude and wouldn't tell me where they were from.

Called looking for my daughter. Not sure how I got their number. I asked my daughter to call them back and say nothing, but just ask for paperwork with debt information to be sent to my address. I told her not to agree to anything.

Called my office and asked to speak to payroll who are offshore and in another office. I advised them of this and then I asked them who they were. They would not say the company name or why they were calling just said they would call back another time. We've had a few calls like this in the past and it's become quite annoying.

Never leave a message but will continue to call several times a day and night from lots of different numbers. They’ve been doing this to me for the past 2 years (I don’t owe anyone any money but they found out I was living with a guy that did owe them and now they won’t stop calling me to speak with him (despite me asking them to stop)

They're looking for some random chick with same first name but different last name. Start accusing me of something I owe and saying I'm someone I'm not.
So they don't have evidence. So I suggest they have a lot of evidence behind them before they start accusing me.

belongs to panther finance, said I owed money to optus so I asked for details, all personal details incorrect, and place where I so called signed up for it was in western Australia too bad I live on east coast and never left east coast, said I had to pay full amount or set up payment plan for they would take matters further.

Why would they be calling? they keep call for my lil sister reguarding a private matter but wont even say their buisness name unless they have confirmation its her. I had to google their number to find buisness name.
