There's a Quarry along Maitland road,Gordonvale that is dumping tailings into Wrights creek which is causing massive environmental damage as it flows out towards the Great Barrier Reef.

I'm a fisherman, I want to know why there are no crabs along the beach at Yarrabah. I have strong suspicisons it has do with the lack of monitoring of the sewerage ponds at Yarrabah. EPA should come out and fulfill their obligations to ensure a safe community.

Should the mill in Mossman be pumping out copious amounts of black smoke which seems to be going unmonitored. It is within a short distance of the local school. Surely this should be monitored.

There have been several major fires on land near Trinity Inlet during the past 4 months, resulting in a pall of smoke over the city and suburbs which lasts for many days. When will the EPA perform its function and put an end to this by identifying and fining those responsible? Any individual householder who deliberately did the same would be before the court in no time flat. We expect our living environment to be better protected than this.

Hello, all environmental concerns raised with you are no doubt of critical importance so that said I think it is time for Cairns Regional Council to be accountable for the disgrace they display at an out of public eye site being the Materials Recovery Facility in Portsmith(MRF)...there is without fail got to be near close to 250tonne of rubbish in the yard outside that is weeping who knows what in to the mangroves and beyond on a daily basis, that and glass aggregate dust and crushed product again outside...how I know this is I am a contractor there wishing to remain anonymous but this is a serious issue and I feel that if a by chance "random" site inspection were to occur than this would be a great advantage in doing what the work site is aiming to do-protect environment not fail at attempt
