Rang 4 times a day

This number is 'apparently' a charity line. When I answer nobody speaks when I call back get a recorded msg saying it's a charity line with an option to have my number blocked from future calls. But no option to speak to a person if you do wish to donate. Just a Warning don't add your number to be blocked from future calls as you will have at min so far 48 plus hrs of unwanted calls from 'spam' numbers.

Tired of this and other numbers ringing and then when you answer, there is no response, despite holding on for a while, knowing that it could be from an automatic calling system and then need to get the caller on-board. I gather from the other comments, it is a charity-type call. These get annoying after a while, just like those who stop you in the street or in a shopping centre, if you wanted to support them you would contact them yourself.

Red Cross asking for regular donation. I think they are hired/paid by charity organisations to call people.

They don't even have the decency to say exactly what charity they are collecting for...very dodgy indeed. Added to my blacklist group of numbers.....I believe them to do fake also.
And the way they get your private number is they are given a prefix to call for eg: 87...they begin with 87 and add the last four numbers eg:0000, then 87 0001, then 87 0002 etc...I was one of 'them' and that's how we covered all the numbers.....sad but true.

Answered call, woman laughed loudly and then asked my name. I interrupted her opening to let her know I couldn't speak right then, she replied "yeah I'm fine, thanks for asking". I hung up.

Regardless of whether this recorded message is looking for charity donations or not. Calling unlisted and blocked ID numbers is obsecene. Number unlisted for my safety not for your harassment. There will be a lawsuit beginning with an IVO and followed with stalking charges.

Received a call from this number, thanking me for my past support and then asking if, "If you don't mind, can you tell me why I have supported them in the past". Though I have supported them in the past, they gave the wrong surname. To me, not getting past the post.

I rang them back and they have a recorded message with an email address to let them know you don't want to receive their calls. It's a long email address but they at least give you the option.

Rang me over 4 days at different times, I made the mistake to answer to find out who it was. I had to listen to a 10 mn speech about the environment and I was asked for a donation. I blocked the number.

By looking through the comments this number must simply be a call centre, with numerous charities as their customers. I will now donate to my preferred charities via their websites rather than over the phone. Agree it is annoying but blocking on the mobiles and screening landlines seems the only way to go.
