This is a debt collection company called Panthera. They don't care that you are not the person they are looking for. They will change the DOB details on their records while on the phone with you to yours to get a match. They get paid a commission on money they collect and don't care. I have reported them to the police.
If they call you don't give out your address or DOB. Otherwise you will end up with someone else's debt
SCAM SCAM SCAM.. I called back and gave them my reference number and he asked me if i was 2 different people! I told him that I hadn’t lived at that property for over 10 years but my sister still lived there and she had passed on the message! I also made it clear that I had already googled the number and it came up as a scam. He then asked me what was the number they were calling me on! When I told him that he should know from the reference number I gave him he hung up.. Called my place of work on a Saturday and left a message with admin with a reference number
Tried calling back in order to demand they never call my place of work again but nobody answerewd
called my husband asking for me, he said "why", wouldn't tell him, saying it was private. Called them back, they say I have an outstanding debt with Comm Bank. I have never had an account with Comm Bank since Dollarmite account at primary school. I tried to tell them they must have the wrong person, but they won't listen. What do I do?
They are really aggressive
Andy from this 'Qld Company' (he wouldn't disclose the name) is calling our workplace to hassle one of our employees. Trying to pry personal information about the employee from our receptionists. I had of read of the comments after missing a call and receiving a msg to call this number back second time round i answered And gave the guy made up crap information and kept annoying him by asking for his personal details i ended getting him worked up with mind games leading him on into nothing resulting with him apolygising after me calmly stating my job as a high profile private personal investigatior saying that my landline is currently connected to 3 main trace direct contact dilithiam 2bks capacitor interface servers nation wide lol watever that is
Anyway after making out like the call was traced rite to his chair i blabbed bullsh*t gps coordinates n mentioned doing work for two names louis king , Matthew peters

Ruthless grubs I'm debit free and they make.up old debit poofter finance. there schemes try to scare with fair legal information Caller: panthera
if you have a debt ring the national debt hotline, google the number, they put the debt on a 3 year no contact register so that you can ignore these pieces of scum. When you get to the end of the 3 years you can renew the 3 year no contact register which then at the end of that 3 years you don't have to worry about the debt ever again as they don't have a legal right to pursue the debt anymore. The debts that these pieces of scum pursue should have never been sold to them in the first place, its a usual tactic that the major banks get rid of loans that they aren't willing to negotiate with the debt holder for a lower payment rate, I'd know as I used to work for the ANZ

I got a call about a gas bill I owed, I paid the debt with my credit card over the phone with them. I rang the gas company recently to get a delivery and AGL told me I had a bad debt that was unpaid. I told them I had paid panthera finance and they had no record of the payment. I rang panthera finance to get confirmation and they said they couldn't give me a receipt. All I have is the transaction on my bank statement but they wont provide a corresponding reference number. While on the phone they claimed I had another debt for electricity company I've never used and asked me if I would pay today by credit card. NOT DOING THAT AGAIN, the ordasity so even if you pay the debt they just keep the money and don't wipe the debt.
f*ck off. Debt
This number keeps ringing from a mobile first and leaves message Got an unknown call today. Sometimes my friend forgets to id her phone so I answered normally I wouldn't. The guy said do I live at this address told me my address I said is there a problem at this address I know the place. Then proceeded to ask about a neighbour and can I confirm I know them and if they live there. I said if ur looking for this person how did u get this address and my number. He said public records. I asked who he was and why are u calling me. Gave me some bs name. Said the matter was confidential but urgent to get in touch with this person. I asked who do u work for. Didn't say which company but based in Brisbane. Then asked for me to write down his name number and a reference number and phone number to give to this person. I said i dont know who u are who u work for or the urgency u claim. Asked not to be contacted again or involved or implicated in any way regarding the matter and hung up. Caller: Not sure
My office had a voicemail left from this number. They were looking for someone and had a reference number. I think it is a debt collection company as others have said. Just to stop them from annoying us again, I rang back to say that they should call our payroll company to confirm employee details, etc, as we have hundreds of workers here and I don't know the person they are looking for (although I always say that anyway). I was mindful of the post below from October and did not give my real name - would not want any problems with a fake debt being assigned to me.
Chasing a debt that ive paid, with evidence of it, use multiple numbers both land line and mobile numbers, i no longer bother to argue with them despite 3 or 4 calls a day 6 days a week.

My only advice is do not give out personal details over the phone. I refuse to give these people or anyone I don't know any info. If you do by chance get stuck on one of these calls and they go on about a debt always say 'alleged debt' - never admit to the debt and do not agree to make payments, Also if they tell you the debt is from another company you can tell them you have no debt with them because there is no contract with a wet signature. Also tell them if they were stupid enough to buy an 'alleged' debt off another company that's not your problem then hang up.
These people have called my workplace number a number of times and have asked for the same person. I asked her multiple times what her names was, after the third or so times, she told me it was Layla. When asking what this is in regards to, she mentioned that it is a personal matter and she wont disclose where is she calling from. Layla only gave me a reference and phone number to pass on. After saying that this was the fifth time she has called me for my co worker, that i have already passed on the message and i would like her to stop calling, she got quite aggressive and hung up. Debt collectors: if it’s been >6 years since you’ve had any contact on the debt - or since you acknowledged the debt in writing or in recorded conversations, they no longer have the legal right to chase the debt.
I have one Block Caller listing for Panthera on my phone, and there are over 20 landline/mobile numbers - added over the years - as they try to contact me.
Called my father who is a disabled pensioner looking for me like wtf he is old and terminally sick and getting harassed by random people is a joke
