This number rang me at 8pm I didn't answer it and I let it go to voice mail but they didn't leave a message

A call from yet another unidentified number. No medsage left on my answer machine & on ringing back I got a Telstra recording telling me to leave a message but the message bank was full. Telstra recording told me it was a "private" number.
These calls are a real pest we're getting 2 or 3 every day from different numbers.
