And this is why I never usually use these sites, got a quote from COMPARE THE MARKET and then BUDGET DIRECT and they keep calling ... NEVER AGAIN

Jumped on Compare The Market for car insurance. Clicked on Budget Direct to have a look. Within 5 minutes I'm getting phone calls from this number.
3 within an hour. Extremely annoying. Would not have gone online for a quote if I wanted to talk to someone... simple as that.

Yep. I was playing around with the Compare the market site last night and now despite claiming they wouldn't contact me, here they are trying. My app automatically blocked them but it's still a nuisance.

Same as others, I had made an enquiry on compare the market. Someone called but hung up when there was a lot of background noise. By the way, the quotes they sent me for home and contents insurance were $800-$1000 higher than what I was able to get with NRMA.

Used compare the market and budget direct for insurance quotes, got several calls the very next day from this number. Definitely must be related if same thing happened to so many others, as commented above. Don't know exactly which one is the culprit, but gotta be either comparethemarket or budgetdirect.

Some retarded insurance company. I filled out an online form that said "Why didn't you have insurance previous" and I put "Other" (they only had 3 other options) and they said... "Sorry we can't help you" WELL DONT f*ckING CALL ME THEN!

Yes, I also started getting calls from this number after using Compare the market... the website said I wouldn't receive calls unless I checked a box to say I wanted phone contact. Which I didn't.

Did a check on a number that had called whilst I was out and came across all these blogs. Yes, I contacted Compare the Market and looked at Budget's website for an insurance quote - sorry I did now as it looks like I'm going to get deluged by unwanted calls.
