Received 3 calls yesterday arvo after researching car insurance. I never answered. Answered this morning and they hung up. I will be blocking their number.

Shortly after using compare the market received a call but it was actually an Australian male advising me I had an unpaid ticket from 08 that needs to be resolved, I advised the male I work in debt collecting and that was breaking privacy legislation because I hadn’t verified any of my details so it was a bullsh*t call, he then said the fine was for stupid driving and continued to speak what seemed like an automated sort of voice as if someone was typing and that voice was speaking. Hung up and tried to call back and you get a message advising they’ll call you back.

I was looking up quotes with Compare the Market and Budget Direct and within minutes of submitting my on line enquiry my phone started to ring. Super peeved off - I chose to do it online so i didn't need to speak to anyone as I hate talking on the phone - but nope, they still tried calling me - twice in the last half hour!!!!

Used Compare the Market for car & home insurance and had to fill in all my details to get quotes so now getting phone calls! If I wanted to talk to a company I would phone them! Not good Compare the Market!
