scam pretending to be telstra, i rang telstra and they said it was a scam

They ring. You pick up. No answer. Again and again. Number belongs to AVP Solutions. Must stand for Annoying Vile People.

took up a new optus contract with a number of handsets, no 3 mths credit as promissed by max there. dont even reply to text messages or emails, very doddgy.

Well I am not sure what you guys are saying! I have dealt with them and have got an amazing customer service! They connected me to NBN and whenever there is a problem, he is always available to help! They are a Telstra Dealership and that's their business. Understanding more that people here do not understand the meaning of dealerships.

Called and claimed to be from Telstra. Wanted to help me switch to digital. Clearly a scam as we have been using a digital service for some time

These calls are driving me batty. 4 -5 times a day, been going on for a month or so now. Seriously, Im gonna just pull the plug on the landline.

Had a call this evening, he wants to change over our phone to a digital system. - What a loser he keeps trying.
Does he think we were born yesterday?
He should be reported to the right authorities and put in jail.

Received a call form an Indian sounding man pretending to be Telstra. Wanted to make an appointment to come to the house to change over home phone from analogue to digital. Changed story to Telstra reseller and would not provide company name when asked several times.

Claimed to be from Telstra wanting to arrange meeting to upgrade our services from analogue to digital. SCAM!

Claimed to be from Telstra. Clearly was not. Hung up once I threatened to report him.

Claimed to be Telstra business center (lie) and trying to arrange a meeting with a rep who was in the area to look at digitizing our services... Refused to answer my questions directly (shifty), obviously a dodgy telemarketer

Keep calling my mobile, but don't leave a message. From what I am reading here, I should not be trusting them.

Received call from an Indian sounding guy from this number today. Claimed to be from Telstra, hard sales pitch wanting to arrange meeting with his sales manager to go over moving from analogue service to digital. Sounded dodgy, told him I wasn't interested.

Said he was from Telstra calling to arrange an appointment to convert my landlines to NBN

Just received a call from this number saying I don't have a website and that they can build one for me.
He obviously did not look too far as our website has been up & running for over ten years.

Many many calls from this rude guy trying to make an appointment to install NBN, told me he was from Telstra and "Sam" the senior technician/sales exec (go figure) would be in the area so it was important to confirm right away. Became very rude and agitated when I questioned him for more information and I wouldn't confirm an appointment. Dodgy, dodgy, dodgy...

Called pretending to be ATO

Claim to be an officer attached to Australian Taxation Office. Some talk of serious allegations against me. They request a call back on 02...number.
