All I wanted was quote, not to be harassed while I was trying to sleep.

I called back number (07) 3164 4777 reached IVR for a company called Compare The Market.

I too, have been receiving numerous phone calls and it's been driving me mad.
Email these people collectively rob.clancy @ comparethemarket.com.au; complaints @ comparethemarket.com.au craig.owen @ comparethemarket.com.au and tell them to leave you alone. Perhaps bombard them with a few hundred emails and see how they like the reciprocated harassment.

Compare the Market. I called the number back and asked them nicely to stop calling me. She was very friendly and understood and removed me from the list. No more calls!

I knew this would happen when they insisted on you putting in your phone number. They keep ringing me and every-time I answer the call drops straight out.

I had two missed calls from that number, now I can safely add then to my reject list.

As everybody else, I just wanted to get a quote online but shouldn't have done it!

You might also get calls from another number too - (02) 9628 8851 (02) 9188 2361 or ending with 2 3 or 4 There are around 5 other numbers they use too.

Bloody compare the market - just after a quote, now I can't get rid of them!

Did a comparison search on Compare the Market last night, knowing it would result in a call, but really needed to do the comparison search. Last time, I had them calling several time a day, every day for over two months. I threatened to report them to the Telecommunications Ombudsman for going beyond what would be considered reasonable follow up. I don't blame the person calling; they are only doing their job.

Compare the market do not want to be contacted just want to explore prices won't go back on that site.

Compare the Market - have called 3 times within a couple of hours and do not leave a message. Completely off putting and will not use their service after this harrassment. I have now blocked the number on my phone.

Went on line for a quote, got a call within a few minutes. Did not leave message. Called again within another 10 minutes. Did not leave message. Called again. I blocked the number.

I blocked the caller on my iPhone. Hope this will help.

Just finished the online quote from compare the market and the phone has already rung. It is harassment. Please back off and be more conscious of what time it is where you are calling. I no longer want to use this service.

I was looking online at Compare the Market & left the computer to answer my phone - it was the same number as commented on before!!
I was only looking!!
They didn't answer the phone and then hung up on me!
