I don’t usually answer calls from unknown numbers however it said it was calling from Brisbane. It was a survey about the upcoming election. Was legitimate and not trying to sell anything/scam.

Knew that this was no-one I know.
Also knowing it could be a telemarketer or the like, so curiosity got the better of me, I called back to play them some orchestral music. I immediately got disconnected. No chance of connection what so ever. Even hid my number. Just don't answer this one. It's just like all other TWN (time wasting numbers).

I didn’t answer. Don’t know anyone in Queensland. This is after election and I don’t really have anything to do with centrelink...so my guess is they’re not really a “market research company”

Called at 8:39pm while I was struggling to stay awake. Pretty inconsiderate to call so far out of business hours.

Has called my business 22 times in 24 hours. Was calling as late as 10pm. I answered it and spoke with a lady who announced she was not trying to sell anything she was a research something. Spoke for about 2 minutes non stop without taking a breath. Told her not to ring anymore but they kept ringing several times after that. I pay for this phone service but don't have any rights when it comes to scam or annoying calls. I should be able to have a say as to whether I wish to receive this type of call. Can register with Do Not Call Register but all that happens then is you receive twice as many calls from charities wanting a hand out. I'm with Telstra but when you ask them to do something about blocking these calls their reply is that I should just change my number. Hello it's a business. Make it 23 times, just rang whilst typing this.

I called back. It was (7 day?) market research company. They tell you what they are give options to call them back. Number is not monitored.

Called 8:15PM wanting to do market research for Neilson about the internet in Australia. Was quite insistent and told me that they took no personal data. Wouldn't take no for an answer. Had to say "have a good night" and hang up to end call.

I just had the number call me just now. I was in the middle of posting an Instagram post. So I just tapped the ignore button. However I find it very annoying getting these calls. Because earlier this year I registered my number on the “Do Not Call” Government register site. After that I’ve not had any nuisance calls from other states. But then just a few moments ago. I am starting to receive these calls again. And I’m starting to find the Australian Government doesn’t take these matters seriously. As they provide these services. Yet I still get these nuisance calls!

I am fed up with this number calling me at least twice a day every day for months you’d think they’d use their common sense and stop calling , it’s bloody annoying, I’ve even tried blocking this number but still they keep calling why can’t the phone company block their number from calling you all the time this is Harrassment and an invasion of privacy, I had a fall while trying to get to the phone to answer it bloody bastards we should be able to sue them for damages or something, where the hell is consumer protection in this sort of thing I ask you. I refuse to answer it now. What can be done to stop them from repeatedly calling and calling you. The call comes from Brisbane Queensland

These idiots have been ring and hanging up when the answering machine kicks in. I just answered the phone now and said stop ringing this number & hung up...hopefully they will stop ringing, it’s annoying that they ring when we are on the DNC register.

Telemarketer - waste of time

Called at 8pm on a Saturday and again 7.30am on a Sunday not happy

Called at dinnertime. Said they were a market research company. Then wanted to know how my previous experience with Breast Screen QLD was. She somehow knew that I had not been back in over two years. So I told her it was a terrible experience, it was also painful and that I would never do it again, and how rude and haughtily dismissive the woman taking the scan was when I mentioned that I had some concerns and a couple of questions about the level of radiation a d whether that could possibly be a contributing factor to new cancers tumours of the breast. While I was explaining just my second concern, the woman on the other end of the line groaned and hung up. Apparently, only a praising experience is sought by this "Market Research" company, if they even are that at all or a paid political group wanting to find out about different parameters. I rang back but nobody answered. She knew too much about me. Seems too suspicious to me. I blocked this number after that.
