Caller: The person said they are from ebay

When l told her l dont have a iTunes account...she said give me your name and number and l will help you with that.....l said no how about l past your number on to the police she hanged up straight away...........

Scammer...These people seriously need to get a real job. I'd like to know why these harassment callers are not dealt with by the telecommunications ombudsman? There must be a way as they are driving nuts. Pathetic creatures who disrupt and interrupt daily.

Same as everybody else. Recorded message about gift cards. I Rang back said they were Ebay and gave me the spiel about cancelling the transaction I need to go into the App Store and download an app on my phone. I hung up. I looked at the app she wanted me to download and it was an app to let them access to my phone.
How do these scum get away with this.

Call tells you a purchase has been made through eBay for iTunes card. They tell you they will cancel order and refund money. They tell you to download app called Teamreviewer and ask you to enter your details which include Visa card details etc. do not do this as the app opens a link to their computer and downloads all your details to their computer...Very dangerous scam. Delete app from your iPhone if you get that far as they are very convincing

The message has now changed to a $50 Coles gift card

Called me to tell them I should call them back in case I don't want to be charged over 300-something dollars for purchases at Coles. Tss-tss-tss...

It's a scam... automated call wanting me to call number starting with 7.. I think not.

Recorded voice saying that Coles gift cards were purchased by me and if I want to cancel them to do something - I didn't hear because I hung up because this is OBVIOUSLY a scam!
