It is the PCYC. being on the Do Not Call register doesn't stop their call as they are registered as a charity/non-profit. At least if my landline rings, I know it's ANOTHER charity... or my mother!

It is indeed QPYC .. I previously bought a ticket from them, and they call back all the time now.
It's not bogus. I too am on the "Do not call" register", but most people don't realise that charities and non-profit orgs are exempt ... they can still call.

Sorry mate, you have been duped. I can assure you that less than 4% only is what goes to the charity. The ceo of insight cfs mr. Simon quinn has made more profit for his own personal wealth than what he has for all the charities combined.

He claims to be raising money for PCYC. Thanks me for my previous support (which I have not) and asks me if I can support again this year, only he calls every few months.
When challenged, responds with "no less than 30% ends up at the PCYc after costs are taken out".

I get a call from this number daily - PCYC. I have donated before, and they keep ringing now. I do not answer. Its disheartening to know that a small portion of monies donated goes to the charities.

If your mobile phone allows you to do it, you can block this phone number. I have, and now my phone doesn't ring - even when they call me.

Buy a FritzBox and block numbers that don't have CallerID and other numbers (or groups of numbers) that you don't wish to receive. (07) 3087 9051 has just been added to mine!

Insight Marketing is a telemarketing abuser.
Your call centre agents are rude, refuse to listen, refuse to legally identify themselves, and hung up on me when I demanded the caller tell me their proper contact information.
If you are called by PCYC, or (03) 9975 0150, ask who is really calling. If they say Insight, then demand their contact information and report them to the ACMA for telemarketing abuse. If you do donate, prepare to have them not only calling you again and again because they know you are a sucker, and worse, they will sell your contact information to other scammers as being proven suckers to call for solar panels, insulation, and other scams.

Simon Quinn has a reputation as a spammer and telemarketing abuser.
The guy who called me said he was from PCYC, but he was really from Insight, so strike one.
The guy called and asked for Mr Smith, but Smith is my wife's maiden name, not mine. Strike two. (My name is not smith).
The guy would not listen to me at all, continued with his script, and when I asked him who was really calling (Insight) and their contact info, he just hung up. Strike three.

I called PCYC , they confirmed they use these idiots, and I told them good luck getting donations with their rude methods. He thanked me.

They ring nearly every day. I don't usually answer but every now and then think that if I answer I can tell them to stop calling but when I do answer they hang up.

I've been getting calls from this number for years. All because I bought a raffle ticket.
I have a silent line, but now they have my number.
I've written to PCYC to ask them to stop ringing.

They won't leave a message. They try about 3 times a day. I've just sent them a request to stop ringing. I hate giving over the phone, I like to give in person.

They call on my mobile - I create a contact called "Charity - do not answer" every time I get a call from one of these people as they are exempt from the "Do Not Call Register". That way I know to ignore the call. I used to answer and ask to have my name removed, but the charities do not appear to respect that wish. Surely the new Privacy Act changes in March 2014 should address things like this.

I get calls everyday 7 days a week... sometime it can be 3 times a day. Twice I have asked to have my number removed from the register... it works for about three weeks and starts all over again and the assault is worst then before... I am looking into any possibility of legal action based on harassment, invasion of privacy etc etc... I never answer their calls and this seems to insight them to be even more aggressive in their assaults...
To this organisation.......No matter how many post are put up trying to convince the public you are wonderful and legit, trust me it will never work, nothing good can comes from an organisation using such objectionable tactics
And to the Charities this organisation represents and gives a small % of any money collected too ... Surely your reputation is more important than allowing this organisation to commit around the clock assaults of harassing phone calls to the public, who under normal circumstance would be happy to help, and we do help those who ask for charity gracefully and they accept even the smallest amount we might be able to give with much gratitude... BUT NOT THIS ORGANISATION.
