anyone who fills out an online survey form to enter a competition will receive constant daily calls from mumerous numbers including this one

Clearly the "do not call" register is completely meaningless. 34 calls in one week - every one from a different number. I never realised before that the Telecommunications Ombudsman was perfectly happy for "people" to invent their own phone number and change it for every call they make!

The Australian Telecom Authority should have a a service where we can forward these numbers and they get fined and phone cancelled

Not sure how they got my number but over 2 weeks I've had about 20 calls from various numbers including this one.

Didn't answer checked here first I get over a dozen a day and check them all here instead of talking to them.

It seems nothing can be done about it so lets take matters into our own hands. I'm not suggesting blowing a whistle and bursting ear drums or anything else that causes physical harm. Just verbal abuse. Make the caller hate their job because every person they call has a tirade of abuse for them. Kill the body and the head will die.

Been getting a lot of calls from this and other numbers since I foolishly entered an online competition (which was a total scam anyway).My guess is they know it's a loophole in the do-not-call register, which my number is on.
I never answer any unknown numbers or number-withheld calls, but it's a PITA to have to check every time in case it's someone I know!

Entered comp 2 weeks ago for a 200 Alidii voucher, only ticked 2 boxes a yes and they were cool... but yet everyone else on the comp I said no to has called so many times. If I wanted it I would of said yes but I said no! leave me alone telemarketer get a real Job.

I never answer my mobile, let all calls go through to voice mail. If they don't leave a message, you can bet your boots it's a telemarketer, and on to the reject list they go, bye bye

Obviously Do Not Call registry does not work as I continue to receive these nuisance calls from a whole ranging of varying phone numbers which I now block each and every time but it is soooo annoying.

Further to previous posts (yesterday from various States/Territories), I got another one from BRISBANE today, and it won't be the last, I'm sure........does ANYONE do anything to escalate this issue or CAN anyone do anything.....???? Nobody should have to change their phone numbers to prevent this from happening. I agree with previous comments......they're all in on it - WOOLWORTHS/DAN MURPHY's/BUNNINGS - I couldn't even get onto the Bunnings website the other day WITHOUT completing the "survey" which took at least 15 minutes answering NO to ALL of the questions - hell, all I wanted to do was find out how much Bunnings was selling their sugar cane mulch for!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrr
