Just add them to your "block" phone list if you have one. Alternatively, pick it up and then just leave it to hang, till they hang up so they incur the phone charges. Shu Shu Shu....

My block list is at an exhausting length .... most of these companies do not get your number from anywhere, they call via a computer which dials a block of numbers and it registers who picks up, (so yes there is nobody on the other end) they can then recall that number as they now know its a legitimate connected number, this being the reason why people with unlisted numbers still get calls .....

I tried to call this number back today after it attempted to call me several times & got a message telling me the number is not connected! Several years ago Wyndham Resorts got my number after I entered a competition on Ebay. Around the same time I saw complaints about the company on tv. They apparently use bully tactics to get people to buy their time share vacations & have kept people hostage for hours on end when they turn up at one of their free info seminars to recieve the gift cards they were promised. I asked them to remove my name from their mailing address years ago & so I will now block their calls & suggest you do too. Thanks everybody for sharing your stories.

I answered once not knowing who. They told me I won a $50 Meyer voucher and $1000 credit towards a holiday or hotel but there were conditions. I cut him short and said I didn't want any free vouchers and I had to go. But I was nice. Since then the same number has been calling me daily and not leaving a message.

I got a call from them asking for "Linda", said my name was Chloe and then they said oh no we are looking just for the owner of the number to say you've won a vacation. Yeah right. Theyve been calling me one day, then skip the next and then call again. Easier just to block number.

I've also had various calls from this number over the last few days. I have answered once or twice by no voice or anything. Very annoying. Will try to block.

They've rung me twice (7.55pm Aug 17) and just now (1.50pm 18 Aug). The first time I let it ring out but when they rang just now it only rang once??. I'm curious to know what they're up to the same scam as Wyndam Vacation Resorts who ring and tell you you've won a $100 supermarket voucher. Then they ask a few demographic questions and tell you that sorry, you're not eligible! :-O. Grrrrrrrr....
