Caller: Alex from Accident Claims Insurance

Definitely wasn't an 'Alex' - I answered, long pause before he spoke. Said where he was from and I told him I was hanging up. Never been in an accident.

Caller knew my name and wanted to speak to me about a car accident I was involved in this year. Told him he was lying and I would report the number and hung up on him

Said I had been in accident which I hadn't.
I told him I know as I had killed the other guy so no point pursuing him.
He hung up.

I blocked it but it still comes back

Why aren’t these scammers ever stopped from harassing people about accidents that never happened? They just keep changing their call centre numbers and keep perpetrating the scam!

Scammers said we were in an accident

Indian accent in the other end. It was a nearly 20 minute convo about me teller her it was a scam and she tried to assure me it was not. She told me BS and I did the same. She ended up hanging up.

had him talking to me for an hour
asking how accident happened
telling him most accidents happen by hitting with another car
he kept asking the same thing
finally told him i know he is scammer i gave him some colorful language
he wished me a nice day and he hung up

Here we go again He wanted details of a non-existent "accident" Told him to go back to study, complete his course and return home and to stop trying to scam older Australians. Also, go and get a real job. Said he should be ashamed of himself as would his parents. That stopped him, but he did wish that I had a nice day.

A man with what sounded like an Indian accent called me from this number, I answered and he questioned me about my recent car accident (it never happened). I asked him where he was calling from and how he got my details, he just kept referring to a car accident. Over and over. I said there was no accident, he quoted an address I lived at 10 years ago. Then abruptly said "Goodbye" and hung up.
This was the first time i answered the call, I realise they have been trying since September.

Reckons I owe money for a car accident. Total scam

Claimed to be from Accident management. I suggested he take his scam somewhere else. He questioned the scam being undertaken. I repeated my suggestion twice more and he hung up.

I answered the phone and it was silent for a few seconds then there was a loud beep and they hung up.
