Keeps calling

Caller: "Link Australia"

Have been called more than 6 times in the last two weeks. I spoke to two different people when answering and was given very different answers when I asked where they were calling from!

They never identify themselves, simply try to identify who I am (I never confirm my identity)! Then they launch into their "3 question, 15 second survey" about "cost of living in your area", when I ask for the area they are referring to, they state a location I have not lived in for 10 years. Will not take no for an answer, even tried to change to "this is for all of Australia" when I said I did not live in her target location. I had to end the call with the rude and insistent individual today as she insisted the survey was quick when I said I don't have time for the survey!

stated he was from toowoomba council and wanted to ask me about the changes in cost of living. I couldn't understand him too well at first and asked him to repaeat in English...he hang up!

They've been calling multiple times per month since June and have never responded when I answer.

Yesterday they claimed they were from "Mental Health Institute of Australia" (I think the last part was Australia). Repeatedly asked me to confirm who I was before identifying themselves. Asked them to identify themselves without confirming my identity. At first she just said a name but not where she was from, then when pressed she sounded like she was looking at notes or something to find the name of the place she was to claim she was from.

Claimed to be "Mental Health Institute" but sounded like they needed to check and read where they're supposed to get from. Same number has called multiple times per month lately.

This no keeps calling me did not answer as did not recognize it.

Caller: SCAMMERS

This number continues to call my mobile and home number , they never leave a message and when I dialled them the number is not connected.

Have received seven calls from this number since the end of July. Twice a month around the 20th-29th-- except in September, when they didn't call/October when they called once at the end of the month and once at the start of November...so far.

Their calls never connect.

After answering the phone a Yankee male voice spoke after a 10 second delay. He said " is that Mr....." and I tell him that he has rung an Accountant's office. He said "Ah...." with a screwed up nose sounding voice and hung up. With the 10 second delay it is obviously a call from abroad falsely using a Brisbane phone number.

Called (with foreign accent) saying he was from the Bureau of Statistics wanting to ask personal questions. When challenged he told me that if i didn't believe him to hang up. So I did. Looked up Bureau of Statistics web site and they warn of this scam. Number is now blocked

Hung up after I answered. Have blocked the number.

Just received a call at 6pm! They hung up when I answered the call like someone previously said earlier so couldn’t get any information out of them. Scammers.

Caller: Caller said they were from Lifestyle Australia.

They are still at it . Had a call on my mobile this afternoon from a woman I could hardly understand. She was wanting to do a survey about the cost of living. Told her I was not interested. She was still talking when I hung up, number is now blocked.
