received a call from this number a moment ago demanding to know my financial situation to offer me some kind of benefit? claimed to be part of the Australian government but clearly was not as they could not provide and ABN or even what branch of the government they come from. very dangerous.

It's a scam or prank call, and kept calling my number, but didn't leave any message. When I picked up one time, the caller hung up! Then, he/she called again, and left me a voicemessage, but no one speaking! Very annoying...

Came up on caller ID as "overseas (07) 3067 8910" ? she was asking if I was owner of house and asking do I have solar panels? She did not get an answer to those questions and hung up when I kept asking her where she was calling from?

Spam call about Solar Rebate. I let him talk and then gave him an earful with my umpires whistle. Even my wife said it it was loud at the other end of the house. Dirty rotten feckers!!!!!

I called back number (07) 3067 8910 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

Knew my name, so probably got from phone book. "How are you" - my reply - upset about all these nuisance calls I am getting, given I am on the do not call list - they hang up.

Same as the rest of these calls. They call my mobile which is a work account & should not be connected with my home address. Somehow they have my home address details. I get a call to my home phone which just beeps no service when I answer. About 5 minutes later they call me on my mobile. Often around 7 pm but also have called me at work around lunchtime. Same call as (07) 3053 5951 and (03) 9088 0803 I have blocked these numbers on my mobile and as soon as I recognise a new number with the same pattern I block them too.

Multiple calls re solar rebate. 3rd time I took the call in full, they already had all my details anyway, I have booked a return call from "a local company" as I explained I would really love solar panels. When the "local company" calls I will follow this through until I can get their details, then report them to ACMA for breaching the Do Not Call register. I can only assume they are using overseas call centres hoping to get around the register, lets see what happens, more people should do this!

We have an answering machine on permanently on our landline phone, I check the number on google if I don’t recognise it and can then check if it’s a scam caller. Simple and frustration saving.

Asked if I am owner of the house and whether I had solar panels installed. I lied and said that I am just renting. They then hung up.

Nuisance call. Overseas line offering Solar Rebate Panels through a government offering. Hung up when I persisted with asking what company they were calling from. Who owns the local number they are calling through (Telstra, Optus?) and why aren't they taking responsibility?

Called and woke me up, no one home on the other end

I've had 11 missed calls from this number, being a shift worker i turn my phone down, twice i have answered and i heard some weird noises and they hung up on me, seconds later another call..i answered they hung up again.. So much for being on the Do Not Call register.

Continually phone me. Do not leave a message. When I phoned back one time and got an American accented voice message stating they would give me message #. I immediately hung up. They continue to call. Such a nuisance. I’m on the no call list. Well that doesn’t work!!!

As above. Asking me if I had solar panels. I said I did. Demanded whether they were for hot water or for power. I said both. She hung up in my ear. Ahhhh - customer service...!!
