They have been calling for two weeks didn't recognize the number so didn't answer.
I ahev just changed some details on my AAMI insurance policy weird they started calling after that. Have now blocked them on my phone

Just had a call from this number, female caller stated that I or a member of my family may have had a motor vehicle accident in the last 2 years & may be owed some money, when I asked her for the motor vehicle rego number, she mumbled something & hung up.

"Karen" called asking me about an accident I had in the last 2 years and I might be entitled to some money. Wanted to "confirm" my details- my name and address but that's it. I said- yep thats what the phone book says...Was asking me other questions and when I asked her why she didn't already have these details - isn't that why she was calling me? she got flustered. I also asked for her phone number and she said they weren't allowed to give it out- I replied that if they were a legitimate business they wouldn't have an issue with this and to stop trying to scam people- she wasn't getting any money out of me- she then hung up...

Just received a call from (07) 3067 0637 Indian guy asked for me by name. As soon as l said yes speaking he said he was ringing on behalf of a motor vehicle accident I was in but before I could respond he hung up. I could hear other voices in the back ground sounded like a call centre. I then googled number and found this site

Im concerned where they got the info an my details from was a bit concerned but my son sorted them out😆😠

I had these arseholes me and my wife we told them we know about your scam.
they wuickly hung up.

The female person wanted to talk to me about an accident I had in the last three years. I haven't had ANY accidents and when I told her this, she just hung up.

The lady was so rude!!! Asked me about car accident a few years ago, I asked who she was then she hung up on me.

Had this same call, can not Telstra pull the phone number or block it

If you call back it just goes straight to their computerised voice mail. Obviously a scam caller. Glad I read these as it reinforces what I thought.

Just got call saying somebody reported tagt we had accident then when I said no he said in last 3 yrs ? When I said no he just hung up phone


After few hrs another guy in Arabic tone call me again in our landline through private number saying samething when we asked him his name and address he was shaky n we told him we gonna call police we got ur number the. We hung up phone .have not got call after that

calls my work also. Claiming I had rung about a car accident.. They try to be forceful but I'm no fool.

Same thing, Indian guy tells me I'm subject to a road safety check. I told him I hadn't had a bingle in at least five years, not even a parking lot scratch, and he said 'Thanks' and hung up.

I was told the same thing. When I asked for their name, and details they simply hang up. The voice sounds like it's an Indian accent.
They said it was for some care accident.

They have my home phone number and my mobile number. I'm wondering if they got these details from the internet somehow.

I am worried they are using my info to illict purposes ... god know's what.
Can anyone reccommend what to do?
