Had this number phone also... googled the number and RP Australia, and found this on RP Data's website! Don't give any details to anyone phoning from that number!!

VERY DANGEROUS. I'M SCARED RE IDENTITY THEFT. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT. NO SHOW, NOT ABLE TO MAKE CONTACT, THEY HAVE MY DATE OF BIRTH, NAME, HOME ADDRESS & NUMBER. I CANT BELIVE I WAS SO NIEVE IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO?

Just a missed call from this number 'RP Australia'. Called back voice mail claims to be 'RP Australia' - requesting to leave name, number etc. Following online checks definitely feel like this is a scam. I would suggest to block the number.

RP data is a site real estate agents use to find properties that are going or are on the market. It can also be used for legal reasons such as title searches if you're selling your house. My main guess why they would be calling is to update their database so it makes it a more credible resource. I don't think, seen as though it's in their terms of use, to be using it as telemarketing :) hope this helps everyone

Called me saying they are doing a holiday package and are RP something, asked if I own a house or have a mortgage, when I said no they hung up. I'm on the so not call register too.

Just got a cll on my mobile at 9:15 this morning was unable to talk to them rang the number on the land line and it is constantly ingaged.

They rang me twice a day for over a week so I finally answered and got a garbled noise on phone then it hung up. Blocked number so we'll see...

Just received a call from the same number - not sure how they have my mobile number since I am on the Do Not Contact List - didn't answer regardless and have blocked the number on my iPhone.

I get this number and other numbers calling all the time and no message left. When I ring the number it is RP Data but not sure who they are. I have blocked the number but still seems to get through to me.

Missed the call and they did not leave a message. This has happened numerous times before. I have blocked this number on my iPhone but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Called this number back and got RP Australia message. But googling doesn't help.
I suspect collection agency or insurance.

I rang this number back, and it went straight to a voicemail message saying Thank You For Calling RP Austalia. Please leave your name and number. I have no idea who it was so I googled it and didn't get very far. There is a company listed called RP Data, but it comes up in white pages as Sydney Based with a 1300 number. Maybe they have a Brisbane Office.

Called me, when I answered they hung up. When I called back it rang once then says the service is not available. Likely to be cold calling for active numbers
