If you have an iPhone - Go to previous calls & all numbers of calls received will be listed - click the little i in a circle on right of the number, this will bring up the number & other details, scroll down the options & you will find Block this Caller, click on this & two options will come up, Block Contact & Cancel - click Block Contact & that will do it. If you don't have an iPhone I imagine the process would be quite similar. Good luck

I started getting calls from these guys only yesterday, but so far there have been three.
First time, I answered as it came through as a local number so I thought it was a legitimate call. Person said nothing and hung up seconds after I answered.
Happened again this morning and again this afternoon but have not answered as yet.
After reading these comments, I too, have now decided to have a little fun with these people :)
The next time they call, I will answer and play along, and if they ask me for my address, I will give them the address of my local police station and I will tell them that the best number to contact me on is the stations main number so that when they call it, they will get a not so pleasant surprise!!!!!
Oh - I so can't wait for them to call again - bring it on!!! :)

I have resorted to unplugging my landline because of the sheer number of thses type of calls. The "Do not call" register seems useless. I still get them on my mobile but at least it is easier to search this site first and block them.

This number called me a couple of months ago, suggesting they were calling about a car accident I'd been injured in (in the last 12 months). My last accident was over 30 years ago !! They called again today, but my mobile phone rang only two times (instead of 10). I guess they made a mistake; realizing they'd already called me previously. Having read some comments here today - I guess it'd be safe to warn people to never say "YES" or "NO" (as such) during the RECORDED (?) phone conversation. If they won't PROVE who they are (what company they're from) - make sure you don't give them ANY personal details.

Kept getting calls from this number last few weeks, and finally answered today. British accent guy saying he was ringing about my car accident I had a little while ago. Last accident I was in was 20 years ago. Told him where to go and hung up. Blocked the number on my phone. Scum, I mean scam.

Android 1. Go to call in Recent call list 2. Click once on the number 3. Click icon that says 'Details' (mine has an icon with a little i inside a circle) 4. Next screen will give you a list of all the times they have called, go to the top right and click 3 small dots 5. Choose Block Number and/or Report Number
Hope this helps

How do you block this number on an android ph? They ring everyday, like clockwork, same time. It rings 2x they hang up or I answer & silence for 2 secs then they hang up. Annoying!!!
