Called and told me my computer and all the computers in my home had a virus and that they were from the "Windows Manufacturers" in Qld. (I have a Mac) then they tried to ask me to follow their instructions and do things on the computer to fix it. They kept reitterating how urgent it was that they help me fix it. Eventually they hung up on me when I asked too many questions about themselves

My mum, who has recently had a stroke, has been scammed and paid thousands of dollars to these people and given remote access to her computer. I just happened to call when they were accessing and she mentioned it. I told her to disconnect the computer and to not answer their calls and call her bank STAT!!!

I called the number and said I had a missed call and who were they. They claim to be representatives from MS.
No one will have the knowledge remotely that your pc is infected with a virus. Do not give them remote access and do not give them money.

I have reported them to ACORN.

Harassing, fraudulent, dishonest and untrustworthy.
Tom Parker and Dean Watson are the face of Solutions Info-soft.
How a business like this can be allowed to operate in Australia is beyond me.
I have been with them for a number of years before I caught them out, however
I now threaten with calling the Police when I receive their pesky calls.
I sincerely wish they'd go under.

Just called me to 'urgently' fix a problem with my computer. Said they were Microsoft office in Australia. Kept insisting and being pushy and talking over me. Wanted to access my computer with me in front of it to 'fix' it. I kept asking questions and the woman was actually getting angry as I got angry with her. I've never had to yell at someone before but it was getting out of control as they are REALLY pushy.

Caller: Tom Parker (Indian accent)

I foolishly allowed Tom Parker access to my computer. I think he mentioned Microsoft so I assumed he was genuine.
Everything was fine for some time, but recently I found that some shares have been sold. Luckily the money was deposited in my CBA account, but he had NO authority to do this. Also I am missing $500 from my Seniors account. I have reported all this to my bank and will also shortly report it to the police. It was helpful to read all the above comments, so I know I am not alone. I have tried phoning (07) 3040 9898 several times but do not even get a dial tone. He has probably got a lot of private information off my computer and I am looking out for any more scams.

Caller: Alex and Tom Parker

My mother in law received a call from Alex from Microsoft Windows. They'd been on the phone the whole day before to Telstra Bigpond to deal with internet and email problems so she was lulled into a false sense of security when Microsoft guy rings to say he was ringing to deal with her computer issues! She gave (Indian accented) Alex complete remote access to her computer and had been on the phone for ages before my wife came home and asked what she was doing. My wife's alarm bells rang louder when M-I-L said she'd verified with Tom Parker - my wife thought "that's Elvis Presley's old manager!" When my wife suggested a scam and had to argue black and blue that it was, she rang me, and I googled number to find these comments.

Govt could do with wrapping up loopholes and spending more on anti-scams when billions are lost by tens of thousands of people to scams. Meanwhile they spend billions on counter terrorism of which we suffer a few annual episodes. I know, lives are lost to terrorism , but just saying. These lowlifes get way with it everyday praying on the elderly and vulnerable.

Take it from me, ACORN is a placebo and does nothing!!! I know, I worked in that section of govt!

Jack says he is from Micro Soft and is very anxious about fixing my computer as it has a virus and has been attacked by overseas hackers. He is a very excitable young man and just yells down the phone at me without drawing breath. I asked if I could call him back and he gave me a number to do this which is (07) 3040 9898 and he was calling me from (07) 5543 3456. I don't think I will call Jack back as he is a scammer but I couldn't bring myself to tell him this as I think he might have imploded. He needs to be arrested.
