Sick of useless, carelss and stupid people

any financial institution is entitled to on sell your debt if you failed to make payments on time or breached your contract you do not need to sign anything with them, because you contract is still with the original lender and has just been passed on... i do not understand why people are so stupid and do not understand there terms and conditions of there contract when they apply for all this money, if you cant pay it back dont get it...it will only effect your credit rating in the future and if you own property or a business or anything legal action can be taken...dont be so naive and just talk to them..not a hard solution...and the reason it may have taken them so long ot contact you is because the information they get is information from the bank and your application so if you changed your details then they would have been looking for you.

It is not there way of collecting your information for marketing it is them trying to find there customers that owe money, and all your information is in public data bases that anyone can access your address your phones numbers and your name....they ask for your dob to make sure they are talking to the correct person especially if you have a common name....you are all a bunch of complainers if it is the wrong person you just tell them its the wrong person and you do not consent to being called back then they wont call...asking for the CEO highly doubtful you will get to speak to them and they also have a ceratina number of times in a week they are allowed to call the numbers they have in the public database, unless you have specified otherwise. So really not harassment at all...just pay your debts not hard

Mandy, debt collector etc get a life, not only people who owe money get calls from this number. If you happen to have the same name as someone who owes money they will also harrass you, I have demanded to speak to the c.e.o. on more than one occasion, because they keep harrassing me about someone else in another state. I have asked them to remove my number from their data base when they admitted they got it wrong, but I still get calls from them.

These people keep ringing our number looking for our ex next door neighbours. They moved away two months ago and we were not friends with them. When asked how they got our phone number they said from the White pages. Crap, they cannot get a number unless they know our name, which they don't, from White pages. They seem to know that we lived next door to these people. How? Isn't this illegal.

Funny how all u people complaining are the ones with debts! You are useless! U took the loan, credit card. Phone on a plan out spent the funds or used the product and didn't stick to the agreement hence why your debt was onsold and u were default listed! If you guys had any respect for yourself you would call back and make arrangements to pay instead of bitching about lion finance on this site where is that going to get you? Karma will come...

Just because the number apparently links to a debt collection agency doesn't mean that the only people getting phone calls are those who have incurred debts. We pay our bills, but have had two hang-up calls this afternoon from this number. I am about to report the bastards.

This number is a debt collection agency (Lion Finance). They ring constantly and try to use a variety of numbers, including mobiles. These people bought a debt from another institution ... took many years to contact me and then tried to claim nearly $10 000 in 'interest''. I have blocked them from my phone. I will not deal with them, I did not sign anything with them and am fed up with them harrassing me.

This is a serious lack or education, before jumping to conclusions find out what the matter is about. This company does not break and laws or acc guidelines. So don't take your anger out on them how about look after your finances better so you don't end up in this situation. Avoiding the situation will not help at all they are all within their rights to contact you at work or through third parties so save yourself the embarrassment and deal with it than and there . Do you're research about that laws before complaining. Cheers

After calling this number back on many occasions, it belongs to a company called line finance. They explained that if another call comes through tomorrow (they have been calling for 3 weeks at 8:45am every day) then the matter can be escalated. I encourage you to ring and ask for the matter to be taken further if they continue to call.

Frustrated

They called me and claimed to be acting on behalf of "insert financial institution name or bank" and asked for me to confirm personal details.
Thus they managed to con me into giving out my personal details. They told me I was in a bad situation if the matter had been sent to "us". When I asked who asked who "Us" was the caller informed me it was Lion Finance.
So they have basically told lies to get me to give out personal information.
Surely this practice is illegal.

Mate 6 years is up and that's when any debt is no longer regarded as being one. Look at one of the earlier comments, contact that number and get these vultures off your back for good

How do you know people are "losers" Mandy? What if you lost your job, got a diagnosis of cancer and in the middle of treatment your bank decides it doesn't want to play nice and sell your debt to these arseholes. You need more compassion. I bet if you were in a really bad situation you would be the first to cry for support like a big baby. People like you need to look beyond yourselves and see what can happen to people. Sometimes bad things happen to good people and all they need is time to recover, but banks and debt collectors like Lion do not give a damn - they are ruled by money and I hope they all go to hell and Karma bites them big time in the arse. They deserve it as do you LOSER.

Lion finance have been hassling me since 2010. They've already ruined my credit because I cant even get a mobile phone so I bought one. I owe a bank some money on a card my ex took and bought a car with in the USA, I was in Australia at the time...I told my bank this and lion finance but they just want the money and they don't care it was stolen. I gave them her number in the US and told them to leave me alone. If necessary I'll claim bankruptcy, Iv'e already lost all my credit rating so stuff them..there's no compassion with these sh*t heads.

Nice try Lion! What a load of bullsh*t. You are not an ethical company and quite frankly a sick old lady googling this site and number. Give us all a break. You keep trying to put "nice" comments about yourselves on these sites, but we all know you are a bunch of unethical pigs who stop at nothing to get what you want. Hopefully karma will bit you and all your employees in the arse, something terrible will happen to you and you may actually learn a bit of humility and compassion. So Piss off from these sites and stop printing lies.
