Collection House debt collectors for Westpac and St George, very rude, unethical and do not care whether your the debtor or not, not worth talking too, I've blocked them

Same thing happened here this morning only the person said they were trying to get in touch with my next door neighbour and could we pass on a message to contact them on the above number. We said sure thing but won't!

This world is full of scammers. If someone on a call is asking for your details but cannot give you a legitimate reason that has relevance to you, you need to hang up or risk identity theft. A legit call can give verifiable information that you can check yourself before getting back to them. This number does not do that so is either incompetent or scam.

Debt collector collecting for ANZ - called wrong number.

Git a call saying i owe money to afterpay. Never had afterpay in my life and then she tells me i gave her the wrong date of birth

Caller gave no details about company, location or cause for the call.

Call said they are from Debt collection agency for Westpac. Asked me for my personal info (Full DOB, address) to confirm my identity. I have told them that firstly, I need to know why I get called for what kinds of debt. But keep insisting on confirming my detail first. So, I told them that I will check with my bank manager and hang up. When I called bank about this call, they said this call is not genuine call. So please do ignore and block this number!!

Received SMS from Barry to call this number, when answered no Barry works there it's a computer generated name. They asked my name address and DOB, when I asked who they were they hung up..... dodgy

The person from this number would not identify himself. This number is unlikely to be genuine or lawful. I blocked it.

Yep just got a call, had two so far. left no message I won't answer. sick of being called by numbers I don't know

yea weird, asking if Iv seen a man next door, he disclosed his name.
wouldn't give me any info regarding where he was from though.

Answered and they asked for someone who does not live at my address. Caller sounded like someone had given them a wrong number and it was expected.

They are a mercantile agency - a debt collectors. If you do not have a debt, you probably have a name similar to someone who does.

just got missed call a few mins ago no message

I had them just call me and they said they were calling from Collection House - they wanted me to confirm my DOB before they would tell me anything further. It then turned out to be about someone with the same name as the DOB didn't match.I asked how they got my number (weas my mobile) and they said that they did a search and my name came up in Victoria.I still think it's a bit odd....

I got a call from this number on 5th May 2010 at 8:34am. Did not answer nor call back, am curious who the caller is though.

Just got a call from this number asking for my date of birth and address. Was very uncool and upsetting.
Would not tell me why they are calling until I tell them personal details. As IF!!!

they are debt collectors tell them nothing ask them for their birth date, home address and mobile number before you tell them anything about you lol
