Quoted as the number to call if I hadn’t authorised a payment in PayPal scam sms

Caller: No idea say it’s PayPal but I have not brought anything

It’s a scam have not purchased anything or used PayPal for years

Paypal Scam, asked to call this number from an unknown number text.

Same as above, was left this message:

Dear PayPal User, You have been Charged for 1700.00AUD on 2022/09/26 for Virtual Card Payment, Dial (07) 2104 1854 if any Dispute or Query.

In checking my paypal on my app there was no such charge to my account. Obviously just a bunch of crap from a scammer trying to get some free money!

Caller: Scammer - Purported to be PayPal

Scam SMS received pretending to be PayPal, quoting this number to call.

Caller: Named "Aus-PayPal" SMS Sender

Suspicious SMS:
A number (does not show in iPhone) named "Aus-PayPal" sent an SMS that my husband's PayPal has been charged 1,700 dollars and if he wants to dispute, it stated that he needs to call this number (07) 2104 1854.
