Telemarketer for printers

I called this number 001197600 and recorded message said incomplete number-the male who called me first said he was looking for Mrs Walker and he got this number from surveys and promotions I had entered. I said I had not and this was a private number and hung up. I then rang the number back and the response is above.

this phone number calls and hangs up when I answer.

Just got a call from 011976000. (Philipino?) lady, who was very hard to understand, was asking me Q's about supporting various charities. When they asked me to confirm my details I hung up. There was call centre noise in the background

This number calls my work phone at least once a day and hangs up once I answer. Today they called and asked if the owner was available, and when I said no, she hung up.

This number called at 9:05pm on a Saturday night.

Received a call from 0011976000 today 10.20am on my work phone. An American Filipino accented woman asked "Who would be the right person to speak to if I wanted to schedule a lunchtime 'event' for your employees.?" I politely told her that we do not have such meetings as our employees are scattered throughout Australia.

I thanked her politely for her call and said do not call us again and hung up.

I remember seeing a documentary of all the Philippine Call Centres - where they have hundreds and hundreds of workers who work on all different campaigns. They like Philippines Call centres because the majority of them are filled with young people who speak relatively good English - they are coached to speak properly etc and many Australian business have now engaged in this off shore 'resource' After all the average rate of pay for a Call centre operator in Auistralia is about $21 per hour as compared to the Philippines where the average rate is approximately $377 -$466 AUD a month!!! Manila has the largest Call Centre operations in the world Outside of Bangladesh, and by 2016 it is estimated that some 1.6 million Filipino people will be employed in Call Centre work.

Meanwhile we just keep getting THOSE calls and hanging up on them!

This number just called me on my mobile but I didn't answer because it did not ring for long but thought the number looked strange.

Received a call today from the 001197600. I always let answering machine deal with numbers I don't know - message left was some guy shouting hello three times and then he hung up. We are on the Do Not Call register

I just received 2 calls from this number 9:35pm

when I see this number come up on mu phone I just ignore this. I am also on the Do Not Call Register but as these calls are scams from India or where-ever they ignore the DNCR

Got another call from this number today - they had the nerve to put me on hold so I hung up on them. How rude

00011976000 showed up on my mobile just after 9pm tonight. I declined the call & it went to message bank .. They left a 30+ sec message of heavy breathing & other scrabbling noise - no speech. Not happy about time of call not to mention I was called in the first place!

I have had several calls from this number - every time I answer the phone they say "good bye in an automated type voice" and hang up.

I have had this number call me telling me they are from Microsoft and calling about a System error. They then tell you to open your computer and they show the problem (which is fake) they then ask for money to fix it. after a period of time they then call back as a separate company saying you were jibbed by a fake company and ask for more money to fix the computer again. DO NOT ANSWER THIS NUMBER

Also tried to call us, it does appear as 0011976000 on my phone...
And we are on the Do Not Call list...

idot called me with an indian accent calling himself mark, form insurance claim. asking me if i had any accident in last 4 years as he had to process a claim.

the moron would tell me about when the accident happened. i did have fun with him for about 10 minutes after which he hung up.
