I got the same message this morning - suspected scam straight away as I haven't ordered anything for delivery this year. Do not open link....

Asking for $3 customs fee to release package from Depot.
My Advice:
This is a scam, do not provide personal details and block future messages

I got the same scam today. not clicking the link in the text message!

When you call this number you get a message that VM inbox is full! How does one find out who the carrier is and complain to them to shut number down!

Definitely a scam - don't click on the link - wonder how these people get our numbers and seriously getting over all these scam texts!!!

Sent me this text message with a link which if you click on it hacks into your iPhone and steals banking code passwords, wi fi passwords and email passwords.

Caller: Text from 0498 528 492

Says order has been held at forwarding depot. Link leads to TNT tracking number and says that your order is ready for delivery. Says you have to pay $4 custom duty and provide details. Pretty valid looking documentation. They will probably get some takers. SCAM!

Received an MMS, didn't know the number so didn't open. Rang the number. It said message bank full.
DELETED MMS!

Most definitely a scam, I AM expecting a delivery but because there is no specific reference in the message, I become immediately suspicious. Remember how Aussies used to be helpful for an unknown caller? How many reports do the regulators need to investigate these scams? Why is the number not already blocked?
