Scam message advising that there is a successful order for a Canon EOS R6 camera on Amazon. The Message says to call (08) 7200 0751 for disputing the order. I assume that if I called that number, the scammers would try to ask for personal information and credit card details. Thanks but no thanks.

Received this message #Security Alert you've sent a payment of A$2500.00 for Q-Card @ Pay,pal If NOT You call a number now for Dispute.
Clearly a scam as I don't use Pay Pal and don't transfer money to anyone anywhere. And as for Q-Card, I don't even know what that is.

I received a text message from 0491 257 359 which thanked me for purchasing a camera from AMAZON for $2,499.99AUD. Then said, if NOT you please contact (1800 749 142 (which was a link). I checked my bank account and nothing had come out. I later called this number from another phone (without pressing the link) and the phone number rang for a second, then hung up. Its a phishing scam! DO NOT CLINK ON THE 1800 phone number link!

I received a text message from this number thanking me for my order of a camera from Amazon costing $2,499.99AUD. If NOT you Please call .... then there was a 1800 749 182 number. Being that I had not made any purchase and checked my bank account, I presumed this was a phishing / scam and if you clicked on the phone number it was actually a link. Hence I did not click on the phone number. I can only assume this is a scam! Beware!!!
