Caller: They pretended to be police They pretended to be the ATO and said my TFM had been compromised, then pretended to put me through to the police and told me I needed to 'save my money' by transferring it onto gift cards and send them the codes for safekeeping.

Caller: Jacob Pretending to be a police officer investigating an identity theft case against me saying that they have an arrest warrant unless I prove myself innocent. Scammed me $7000 and told to transfer money into an account for save keeping before they freeze my accounts in order to stop the people using my ID. Please be aware, this is a very real and scary thing.

Caller: Gaberial Told husband to go buy gift cards to prove he was innocent to fraud. Told him they were police and that they had a warrant for arrest. $10 000 WORTH
