Called me from this number, funny that they are always mobiles and not 1800 numbers anymore. She knew my full name I don't know how I didn't give it to her said it was an insurance line and asked me to verify if I'd been in a car accident in the last 2 years that wasn't my fault. I have never been in a car accident, they call numbers hoping for a sucker or someone who has been in a car accident recently to take advantage of them and get personal info and bank details. She said I may be in title to insurance for injury. I asked if she enjoys scamming people and hung up on her

Call from Legal Assist. Stated I’d had an accident in the last 2 years & may be entitled to claim. Presume it’s a scam & will take my personal details. Calling from a mobile no not 1800 ! Repeated calls.

Called mumbled who and what for but knew my first name asked for my full name date of birth and address for "security" I asked what the call was regarding, mumbled and I asked his full name and he hung up

Car crash stuff pushing for my details - i said no and they immediately hung up on me

New my full name and said it was related to a motor vehicle accident I said I haven’t been in any accident he then tried to say it must be someone in my family who had been and have referred me or used my number so he was offering me the entitlements to the claim - I said I have no family and no motor vehicle and so I will offer him my entitlement to the claim if he just gave me all his details - he hung up

Called me saying if I had an accident claim etc due to a vehicle accident.
I said I was recording the conversation and would use against her as evidence in a court of law and transmit to AFP. She hung up on me

Insurance fraud/scammer claiming to be ‘Mark’ from legal assist. He hung up as soon as I asked his full name, company address etc
