I also have been receiving numerous calls and texts to tap to download stuff that this number has sent to my smartphone but everyday starting from around 8.20 a.m I am bombarded with calls and texts from 0488 872 618, so I blocked it but it still rings once, & then I still have to delete the texts as they go into my messages archived. I believe it is a Scam artist.

Multiple missed calls all week, as I am unable to get to the phone in time.
Finally got to answer it today, there was talking in the background. Person was rude and said 'Finally. About time!" then hung up. Tried calling them back 3 times but the number is disconnected.

I picked up and there was a machine voice saying that they'd connect me to my party. I hung up before they could connect

Cold calling to try to get you to consolidate your super with them. Just ignore.

It's an automated message asking you to hold on while they connect you but it doesn't and hangs. If it happens again I'll block it

Tried calling back - got through briefly once, o/s call centre then they hung up. They are relentless in calling - it's driving me mad.

Called at 8:30 am and again at 11:17am and again at 1:17 pm. Tried to call back number engaged

I called back number 0488 862 618 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.
