Caller: a very special promotional offer

Reached a voicemail message and said thanks for calling back we have a special promotional offer for you and we will call you back later with the details

I now refuse to answer my phone to a number a I don't recognize. If they're a genuine caller, they'll leave a message

Thanks to this site, I google the number and then block it. I'm so sick of the bloody scams, I've had three today already

0488 862 377, when I did a satellite search it said it was from Afghanistan, the other number they used was 061285000011

I answered the call without making any noise, same with the other side, did not talk to me, so I waited for the call hung up.

Phone ring twice then they hang up.....message left saying they have a special offer & will call back later.
They wont be as I blocked the number.

I rang the number back out of interest - usual message that they will ring you back. No voice message - not an Asian accent, but who knows theses days? Block this number - he will run out of credits and move on to another prepaid phone account.

Received a call at around 6 PM on a Tuesday, didn't leave a voicemail. It seems this is an organised crime to find out people's locations. Very dodgy.
