Like a report above, I get these calls from different numbers every day or so. I've told them I wish I'd never donated and to pass on the message that if they call again I'll never donate again. But these annoying people are on commission so why would they want to stop calling?

Good to know it’s Surf life savers. I bought tickets once and I have blocked so many of the land lines they have moved to mobiles now.

Surf life saving, I buy tickets probably 4 times a year but they always call continually even if you have recently got tickets. These guys go waaaayyyyy Beyond most charities and are actually very annoying. Makes them very difficult to support.

It is probably surf lifesavers, after i stopped taking the Queensland number it is very cheeky they started using a mobile. I donated once and they call every 2 weeks, very annoying.

Usually 0488 is not a real number. We use it for film and Television.

Get info from them via email, OK. If they're ringing me to say I've won, GREAT! If ringing me for more money, STOP IT, DON'T BE A PEST.

I must be one of the 12 people that is on their call back list as they ring constantly every 3-4 weeks. Happy to support their raffles once a year but they repeatedly call when they've been asked to stop. Would rather donate to other deserving charities that don't harrass people.

I donated to three charities, I do so monthly and would be truly happy about that if I were not bombarded with several calls every day except Sundays trying to get me to donate even more.

Have my phones on silent all day now while working and only respond to business calls and known contacts after they leave a message or text. That's how nuts it's become.

It's a sad thing when the endless daily harassing is what you get for helping out.
It really puts you off ever wanting to help out again.

Multiple calls from this number. Upon answering the call there is a short period of silence, no response, and then the call ends.

Male caller, Aussie accent who had a prepared script ready. Asked me to commit to a weekly donation. I said no and ended the call
