Called on a Sunday afternoon. First there was a computerised voice saying "hello" then a girl who said her name was Olivia from market research.
DO NOT CALL ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON. GOT BETTER THINGS TO DO THEN ANSWER QUESTIONS FROM WHEREVER YOU ARE FROM. NOT INTERESTED!!

Yes, I have no problem with them doing their job. But, they continually hang up on me. It can make a female feel very vulnerable when you don't know who it is who is constantly calling you only to hang up every single time. This has been going on for months. I always participate in surveys, this is harassment.

I don't know why the Do Not Call Register allows these survey people to call. It wastes everyone's time. If I'm on the register, I don't want to get these types of calls. They are allowed to call though, but that doesn't mean I'm going to all of a sudden allow these people to ask me all sorts of questions. I don't want to talk to people who make unsolicited calls. I don't care if they are charities, surveys or whatever. If they call me, they are going to get nowhere.

Don't make yourself crazy, just email E.M.R.S. and ask 'em to remove your number from their list. I just did that on a Sunday morning, and got a very polite reply almost immediately in the affirmative. Venting at the poor young kid at the other end of the line has zero effect on the company or it's practises, and in fact may make them spiteful.

They called and said that they where paying me for a car accident or something, I don't own a car or drive so I would say that they a scammers, they are phishing for info I guess

Market and Social research calls are not trying to sell you anything. If you don't want to participate be polite and say no thank you - simple. Seriously not right to abuse people trying to earn a living.

identified as research caller, i have told them to stop ringing, but this makkes no difference, now when they call they hang up as i pick up phone, why dont those employed by the government do some thing to stop this

They ring me everyday without fail!

This number calls daily. You answer, then it’s silent for ages and then they hang up. Sick of it.

They called me and hung up when I answered but weren't smart enough to list their number as private so I called them back and was told they were polling people for the state election. I told the woman I talked to that I didn't think it made a lot of sense for someone in Tasmania to do a survey for a Queensland state election.
