I called back number 0488 828 836 reached IVR for Giftel.

Scammers claiming they are collecting for charity. Donate to charity directly never through cold calls on your phone. They knew my name was ellen but had the fake last name I give online so they’ve clearly scammed my details and managed to connect my name to my phone number. Tell them you aren’t interested and hang up!

Called me Tonight 21/8/19 at 5:47pm & last night at 5:35pm. No message left.

Called three times this week - numbers all start with 0488 828 with different last numbers. Left a message but was just background noise. Blocked all future calls.

Has called me everyday this week with different ending numbers but always starting with 0488 828. Always leaves a 5 second voicemail which is just a mumbling cracking sound.

Same number has called me three times and not left a message.

I called the number and said it was a charity and that they will try calling back - i have now blocked the number along with other of these all starting with 0488.

Why do they always call at meal times? I dont answer any number that is unknown but they keep trying, and never leave a message. PITA.
